Man, I LOVE listening to this man...everything about his style from his attack to his phrasing to his note choice, this guy is insane...he should be in every guitarist top 5. He plays with more passion than anyone...period!
couldn't agree more, in the last couple of months, ive gone andy timmons crazy getting every track he's ever recorded. He instinctivley knows when to palm mute and pinch harmonic also, not overdoing anything and building each track up to an amazing climax of guitar hair on the back of the neck type stuff !

he always uses his signature guitar yes, AT300. If u notice, guys, this andy timmons really have a lot of awesome tunes, this guy can really make music. Personally for me it's kinda inspiring. And he's really versatile, he plays jazz, country, blues, etc and acoustic as well, check out his new album.
He plays Stratocasters sometimes (I think, or maybe the maple neck Ibanez looked like am HSS Strat) and plays classical music as well.. But what does that matter? I completely agree with you, he's very inspiring!

dont know alot of Andy's songs, but this epitomizes what instrumental rock guitar should be... technically sound, awesome hooks so u forget the fact there are no vocals. i'm looking this up on iTunes.
