  • Chinese? that guy is supposed to be CHINESE?! He's doing an austrian accent for fuck's sake

  • great video thanks

  • Man asks for coffee computer says no = Bad Sign. The year 2457 Man begs for coffee computer says shut up slave.

  • 50 years and we still can't figure out a way to economically to collect or distribute energy from solar panels!! lol

  • I can imagine people in 50 years laughing there asses off at this...

  • @mypinis You're not the only one who thinks that.

  • reality: car tries to fly and breaks down.

  • As it becomes evident from the video by the year of 2057 those two guys should have already discovered all the secrets of artificial gravitation and/or anti-gravitation respectively (they walk in the space station rather casually, and the coffee machine operates 'without notices').

So, besides that solar-nano-super-technology they may use their anti-gravitation skills to raise the cars on the Earth at several millimeters 'above' the carriageway and to 'float' without friction along the highways.

  • @U1T001 They don't need anti-gravity devices. It is possible to create "gravity" in the space station by centripetal force. Unlike our current space station that floats in the space, the station in the video is connected to the earth with the carbon nanotube... and to hold the nanotube cable tight you will need that centripetal force anyway. The "gravity" is just a by-product of that force. Imagine you swing a water barrel vertically, the water won't spill out and it experiences a "gravity".

  • If there in space, how come they're standing firmly on the floor. I thought there wasn't any gravity in space.

  • @dunzy1996 well im pretty sure in the future there will be better artifical gravity, like today when you spin a ship in space its causes gravity

  • @PAGofficial It does? Oh, thanks. I never knew that.

  • More like 2150, at the least

  • @H1TMANactual sounds like you've put alot more thought into that date than all the physicists and futurists who contributed to the projects simulated in this video combined :)

  • @karim3343 Do your own research.

  • @H1TMANactual I have, I am a theoretical physicist transferred out of MIT to listen to lectures from Dr. Kaku, and for the record bro the estimated calculation of having a running production model of a space elevator range from 2040-2085

  • @karim3343 The video included a lot more than space elevators. And physics can't predict the future, nothing can. There are plenty of websites and resources that give a timeline of the future, and they all vary. Like I said, do your own research.

  • @H1TMANactual And like i said (yet again) i have, you cannot predict the future and nor can i, but we can (through predictions of the exponential increase in a wide range of technologies) make strong and supported assumptions... The institutions my colleagues and myself have studied at are at the forefront of these predictions; so maybe instead of just listening to yourself, take other peoples opinions into consideration as well (especially those whose job it is to make these prediction) ! :)

  • @karim3343 I did. Just not whichever institution you're getting your info from.

  • @H1TMANactual is the MIT Center for Theoretical Physics good enough :)

  • @karim3343 Depends. What's it's track record for predicting the future?

  • @H1TMANactual lol, you clearly dont know what you are talking about.. American, i presume :)

P.S. (we are one of the premier group of physicists on the planet... we are not a sports team and do not keep a "track record", although you may want to know, if there is anyone who can equate our current rate of evolving technology to that of the future, it would be the departments at top research institution like MIT)

    Cheers

  • what ARE you on about?

  • Watch Zeitgeist: Moving Forward and let's make this a reality!

  • one thing that gets me is if we want to adavance quicker, why does money have to be a factor, i understand people want to be paid for their intellignece and skills but at the end of the day, if there isnt some volentary work we advance slower like we're doing

  • My vision of the 21st century

    2010s: Rise of touchscreens

2020s: Glasses & Contact lense screens

2040s: Machines controlled by our thoughts

    2050s: Body Shops

    2070s: Rise of the cyborgs

  • @deanmullen10 actually there was another documentary (i don't remember what it was called) but it just so happened that they said that people in the future be able would create self learning robots and eventually the robots would learn so much that they would rise over the humans, finding that we're obsolete and then eventually the start the fall of the human race

  • @omnomnombunny yeah I have heard of that but michio kaku and many others are now suggesting if humans become cyborgs we can merge with machines and not just stay in control but become the machines if you may.

  • @deanmullen10 true true....but if you think if it, that would almost count as a rise of cyborgs in a more less deathly way because we're becoming them and slowly losing our fleshy non robotic form....

  • @deanmullen10 probably in that time hackers can hack every robot...

  • @deanmullen10 *2060s rise of robots

  • @deanmullen10 machines controled by thoughts are already avaible, just look at the CES of 2012. I don't think it will take 30 years for them to go on the market.

  • @Frogcrunch really? well that's exciting news and yeah I suppose it could be more like 10 years.

  • come on guys, 2012 is admitted by nasa as fake and gay. The so called asteroid which is ment to hit earth ending life in 2012 is fake and doesn't exist. If you still belive it then you are retarded. Be worried about an actual threat like 2040 where an asteroid is actually coming towards earth. Now do some fucking research and fuck off with the whole 2012 thing

  • our youtube videos have better sound quality on low than those crap intercoms. WTF is with you people thinking chinese means has to be of chinese descent. how many americans are white people?

  • "Order more Coffee"

"I can't let you do that Dave"

  • 2068

A evangelical church is in congress when flying cars swarm it then swatbots storm in:

"you are in direct violation of the anti religion act of 2015, this is your third warning you will be chipped."

The humans are taken, processed and implaneted with molecular robots that feed information directly to the brain, they are given a crash course of mathematics, science and culture and returned to their homes.

Some toss out their bible, the pastor blows his brains out.

  • @ganados0 You are completely disgusting. You would revoke the right to freedom of religion just because you don't like religion? You would effectively brainwash people to believe like you do? You would rejoice in the death of a religious leader? Of course, if religious people tried the same thing against atheists, you would cry out about it being wrong, but do it against a group you don't like and it's A-OK. You are not human.

  • we already have the technoladgy to solve the energy crisis today and ive figured it out but im not telling you what it is cuase its gona make me rich

  • @sixwingproductions helium 3?

  • @barr65 nope

  • @yquit4 don't believe such hoax.

  • thats a native american looking like.....Chinese!???@@

  • I want that instant shaver now!

  • whitewaahed asian

  • Why the hell are they planning on making more wepons?

    Wtf...

it wont be called war if this technology goes up against people who still are mastering fire...

  • @JollSSteR Why are they making more weapons? The grim fact is, it is so often warfare that prompts the big leaps in technology eg the Internet, which was military in origin.

  • @Goodiesfanful The other fact is, at this stage we are advance enough to make another technological leap without weapons of mass destruction. If it is conceivable, then you don't need weapons to make it happen. The more advance we become the easier it is for us to leap over external things such as weapons; come on.

  • The Chinese scientist is not evil enough to look Asian. If he was evil, he would look Asian. That's how racist it is.

  • World is supposed to end in 2012 ... lets hope we make it to 2057 without making a big mess of this planet!!

  • At 8:52 , is that a pen you could write on the glass? could you actually buy it?

  • 8:52, is it that a pen you could write on glass ?

  • uhh I'm getting confused when trubinelp said asian to refer to kaku since if the UK we refer to indian people as asian haha, then I figured he must be from the North America.

  • .....theres going to be solar paint soon

  • wait.....did they say that guy was asian?

  • i believe we can do ( in the future ) almost everything or maybe everything, but we cant think off it right now cause we have war, corruption, violance, rapes, fights, you name it we have it, we should focus on the concept of good and evil, bann evil, and award the good. we cant think of going to the moon and live there, china will put a flag in the ground, russia will come with some flags, china haha we will have a flag war on the moon, but you know what i mean,

  • I think this technology is possible because of western countries and as for asia, only japan will be of use.

  • Lol about time ppl realised solar energy is the best way, plants have been using them to produce food since like what,a few billion years?

  • Holy shit! if you pause the video a 1:39 the American Physicist's name is Bob Sanders!!! GO COLTS!!!!! :D

  • The Venus Project can actually show us all how it could be in the NEAR future...not blue screen hopes and wishes. It'a animated. Jacque Fresco shows

  • maybe he is half chinese ..who cares?

  • to say when we have this technology we will still use currancy makes me sick when we have the resources to treat everyone with the nessesities of life only americans we be ingnorant enough to to say we would need insurance when every country is moving toward free health care like canada

  • why is the chinese colleague white? but has a chinese accent? 2057 is a fucked up year

  • @God11Like Yeh, lol

  • @God11Like No, you're just a fucked up racist

  • Personally I'm glad fossil fuels are limited. Thank God for that.

  • "well then order some more!"..."Im sorry i cant.."..."WHY I OUGHTA...!"

  • dude why is that 1 guy not chinese even though they say he is why not just get a real chinaese guy to do it

  • Hahaha! That guy is NOT Chinese. What cheesy pseudoscience this crappy show is!

  • @lupischuckle I think Michio Kaku has a lot of faith in humanity but all of this is very well possible. Michio Kaku is Japanese American.

  • @IAmTheCthulhu I was not referring to Michio Kaku, I was referring to the actor portraying the Chinese astronaut. And for all the faith Kaku has in humanity, he's still showing us a very unscientific, entertainment centered view of the future.

  • Invisible soldiers is going to be useless, humans be easily be detected by heat-censor, they should put more money on heat-free soldiers xD

  • @cvunit but at least in war not everyone is 24/7 watching the heat sensor, so i think invisible soldiers are still useful. What happen if u have soldiers with invisible suit and cover in mud like Rambo, you will be surely dead. XD

  • by 2057 China will have her base on the moon, and her own space station, since right now China is restricted by the US to participate in the International Space station.

  • @LoveForChinaForava I don't think China is restricted by the US to participate in the ISS, China is regarded an independent country of personal ambitions and if China wants to compete, China wouldn't need to be a part of ISS and China isn't like Japan who succumb to western supremacy. We don't have one Chinese being a part of ISS because of political and social reasons. You can not ask others to respect you if you can't respect yourself.

  • Michio Kaku is on every damn science show lol, he's like a subatomic particle, everywhere at once.

  • I am announcing my candidacy for the 2012 Presidential Elections. My platform will be one of the greatest change since the beginning. Keep your eyes and ears open this next year if you value what you have been given. The best is yet to be.

  • 5:02 looks like a bong

  • 2057 has good news, apparently, our Chinese rivals will be Americanized. They will speak English, they will work with us and they will definitely have an American accent.

  • As we speak, all Chinese students do learn English as a foreign language all the way from 3rd grade in primary school all the way through junior high and senior high middle schools, although not very many really speak or need it later on. So there is truth in it.

  • @gongchang02 Well sort of there, in the future there is a most likely possibility of a bipolar world its happening right now as you have heard many stories going on between whats regarded the "two superpowers" of US and China. Hence the future language is English and Mandarin-Chinese. This is because China in their Eastern bubble have a Sinosphere as oppose to the scattered Angloshere. Of course Chinese has become the most widely spoken language across the globe.

  • no the solar panels will be put in space because it is even more efficient

  • Some real bad acting in this one.

  • 5:19 its red matter!!

  • funny thing, the first thing he mentions is "how will we wage war"/. stop fighting useless wars you dumb fucks. crude oil is gone whether u blow up all of iraq or iran.

  • I dont think they are advocating war, just stating that sadly this is the world we live in.

  • true

  • I would enjoy watching this is Michio Kaku talks normally, not like hes trying to tell me toothpaste or something. But except for it, this is superb!

  • I would enjoy this more if they didn't add in a side story in addition to the fats about the future...we watch this for the info, not for a stupid docu-drama!

  • I agree, hard to bloody tell who is real and who is fiction.

  • what if u laid clear solar panels over the oceans? so much space u could have large amounts of power produced

  • then you block the light reaching to ocean

  • what if i laid clear solar panels over yo mamas house so we could power her vibrating bed without leaving a carbon footprint

  • This is Desinformation

why they dont talk about magnet motors or hydrogen from water or about zero point energy?

  • Solar panels eh....... good for running christmas lights, not much else, can't produce the voltage, oh ya this video is mindless and put together by people who 'must try harder' what a waste of special effects, maybe they should go and read up on this quirky material or learn more about reality

  • Wow, you are so right. What does Michio Kaku know, with all his accolades and degrees, that you dont with all of your NOTHING. 100 years ago, scientists claimed that trying to know what makes up the fuel of a star was a hopeless dream. In 50 years...who know? Claiming that all this is "quirky material" will just make it that much harder when youre forced to eat your words later.

  • HAHA the Chinese guy looks like a young Johnny Deep! I guess using a "real" Chinese would be too controversial for the general public. LOL

  • Why do they always have TV shows about how we wage war in the future and what new weapons we can make? We should rather research how to create peace, and get rid of the guns...Are humanity just as stupid in the future as now? Just that we have more fancy toys to kill each other, humanity needs to grow up..

  • On the space station, why couldn't they use a real Chinese American or Chinese person? If they are gonna use an actor to represent someone from China, then why not use a real person of Chinese descent?

Is it because 2 fully Asian people in the same show would be too much for viewers? Since Michio Kaku is of fully Asian himself. WTF?

  • They don't have an understanding of what Chinese in the future would look like, that's why they put a half-breed in.

  • @turbinelp20012001

Because by that time there will probably wouldn't be a pure race and we will all be a mixed race =)

The race of the future 1 mixed race

  • @turbinelp20012001 why would 2 fully asain people be too much for viewers were all humans so , don't try to delude yourself that whites are better before you start with we invented most important discovery no you didn't it was an couple of individuals

  • @ITDXB

Ok, I think you missed one too many English classes. Your message is also hard to understand although you seem upset about something.

My message speaks about it being dumb NOT to use a full Asian looking guy for the role in the video as an astronaut.

  • @turbinelp20012001

Their heads would explode with TWO shines people on there.

  • @turbinelp20012001 I think they might have been trying to show the effects of globalization...people are really starting to migrate/immigrate. It may not be far-fetched to see caucasion chinese citizens in the near future.

  • @turbinelp20012001 michio kaku isn't fully asian, he american, and born american, look it up..

  • @Ichibaz

Sorry I didn't make it clearer. I meant Michio is fully Asian looking.

  • @turbinelp20012001 Are you saying there are only Chinese people in China? It's not like it's some "hidden racist joke" or anything.

  • @turbinelp20012001 Not all Chinese people look Chinese. It's not like it's some "Hidden racist agenda".

  • @turbinelp20012001 just look at Lana, Kristen Kreuk, from Smallville. She is part chinese but looks more like an exotic and hot american. And I have a friend who is blonde, but her eyes shows that she may have a chinese father but has also a swedish mother.

  • @turbinelp20012001 it seems your not ready for 2057

  • @JhosefL

    I'm ready for 2012 though.

  • @turbinelp20012001 2012 is not gonna happen... nothing is gonna ...NOTHING....its gonna happen in 2013...i the day i finish school >>>CLASS Of 2013 .. BITCHES<<<!!!!!!!!!

  • @turbinelp20012001 I agree. But he appears to be Asian and white mix. I could be wrong. But he differently has some percent of Asian in him.

  • @turbinelp20012001 When you are born in a country, you are apart of that nation regardless of pure descendant. In other words you can be a white person born in China and technically you are a Chinese citizen which makes you Chinese regardless of Chinese descent. A lot of people think Americans are only white people and that isn't true and same goes as for other countries. It's sometimes confusing and unusual, well maybe not unusual for America due to their diversity.

  • Looks to me like slick "predictive programming".

There have been endless inventions for producing energy from "the ether", water-burning cars, cold fusion, etc.

And yet, we are supposed to believe that we can't survive without the primitive burning of fossil fuels?

Who is suppressing the free energy discoveries?

    And why?

Answer those Q's, and you have named the powerful and hidden enemies of humanity.

  • very very bad acting but very very neat show

  • @xanet602 It's not supposed to be about making a sci-fi movie with low budget it's about telling the "facts" that could be true!

  • i fuck a robot yesterday hahaha

  • i fucked yo mamas robot yesterday

  • to be honest i dont like the future i think its cool but idk i dont feel good with lots of people having flying cars like star wars i think its better using this technology dont get me wrong here...

  • they said 2057 at the beginning dipshit. listen

  • hmm....

When Tesla was determining the resonant frequencies of the earth to potentially transmit unlimited electric power,

    umm..derr...um... lol

Unlimited electricity could be made available anywhere and at any time, by merely pushing a rod into the ground and turning on the electrical appliance.

  • and that was in the 1890's....

  • @SiennaRaw Tesla abandon the project for moral reasons, the ionnessphere (I think miss spelled that) is on the same freq as all human and animal minds. Those technoligies could have been a weapon agaist the mind.

  • Really? First, your last sentance kinda contradicts the first. Second, we already do. Typing commands is just a form of communication. What is so far fetched to say that we wont? We have computers that talk to us and we have voice recognition programs. So why would technology try not to make it more personal?

  • be better if we could skip the voice stage completely and find some way to control machines with thought. i hear they've already developed some sort of implant that lets people move a mouse pointer by thinking about it

  • Actually, that kind of stuff is more advanced than just a mouse pointer. If you dig around you can find that they have devices and programs where people are playing games with just thought. It's crazy. It's not perfect of course but its well on its way to being a reality

  • On a lighter note... I would love to convert 5:03 into a bong. LOL

  • One gay problem on solar energy..

On 2057, what happens if scientists accidentally create a gas that covers the sky like the movie ''the matrix''. No sunlight can reach earth...

  • we'd have to rely on fusion or something. And find some way to replenish oxygen without plants, seeing as they'd all die with no sunlight...

  • You do know that we could have all this right now? It's because of people in controle, not wanting to give up their power(what reasons they have i won't get into cause i don't wanna force my believe on people if they don't ask for some information. Force is a bad word ofcourse :D). Think about. Why are we still on fossil energy? why are we still making fun on solar energy? Why do scientist who come up with idea's die?

Wake Up people and search for answers :D. Don't believe me, but do research.

  • come on, do not tell me that you speak your words out while you type. I know your slow and I know you have to type slowly

  • you fucking idiot you talking on a computer

  • yea we could be like this in 2057 but everything fails at the money

  • stupid...in 1970 we thought by 2000 we would b in flying cars and look like fuckin star trek...DO WE

  • yeah, you right. and nowadays we think we're lost but we have already the resources for the necessary changes:

    disclosureproject{dot}org/GreatestSecret1pg{dot}htm

  • I'm sticking with steam and oil, no way in hell I am going green!

  • Yeah! That would be bad! We must destroy the earth before we colonize to other planets and spread our species and start destroying the universe.

  • iam a furrie

  • YOU ARE BRAINWASHED !!!

  • We can invent anything we want right?

  • not really but i wish

  • im a be 63 in the year 2057 XD..thats not too old cause im a do everything in my power to keep healthy

  • ur 17? me 2 xD... unless if we die before that

  • lmfao ...that would b a bitch wouldnt it hehehehehehhe....!!!!

  • yea lol

  • true dat

  • umm, you do know that car engines are around 15% efficient??

  • God, and to think that I'll be 72 in 2057. I only hope that I will have contributed towards some of these advances.

  • dude colo no more oil that means no more bombing arabs and killing there women n children

  • you think that arabs are the biggest criminals in the world?is that what you mean by ""no more bombing arabs""+""and killing there women n children ""?hhhh who is killing people in palestine,iraq,afghanistan,....?

    of course the fashist israelians+americans.

I think my friend you have no idea about what 'shappening around you.

    peace

  • Someone lacks proper grammar.

  • Well unless you're an advanced physicist or your an expert in nanotechnology. Then I doubt you'd contribute anything towards these kind of things.

  • we pay tax moron

  • Wow you fucking retard. Research and development of nanotechnology isn't a government funded operation!

  • Really now, you illiterate reject; wasting my time like a retarded childish prick.

  • Considering it was you who replied to my comment, like a redundant reject. You can go fuck yourself.

  • considering ur a loner i dont know why im talking to u. you can go talk to other people now

  • Yes go piss off you retarded reject!

  • whats up with the no coffee introduction?

  • it was just to give it a "real" feeling

  • Cloak soldiers?

Won't they still be track by infrared goggles or cameras because of our body heat?

  • yes but on plain camera severance it would not show up and if they can do that y not cool the armor down too? so that it would not show up

  • they got them now believe me when you see stuff like this on tv the miltiary is already 30 to 40 years ahead of the civilivian population in tech.
