  • Omg, I absolutely loved this game... When in January I'm going to move to London for the rest of my life, I'll buy it again!

  • 2:48 Now that's just awkward...

  • @jamesthq

OMG I used to think the same thing as a kid!

  • i release you from the black hoe lol

  • *looks over at the related videos* Why is a clip of Luke and Noah's twenty second kissing shown linked to this? o.O

  • lol, i completely beat him in that staring contest

  • 2:39 The best moment in the entire duration of the game.

  • *rolls dice* 31/2 Uh...

  • SCUM Sucking Maggot! HAHAHha

  • (blinks continously) Whatcha gonna do about it? huh?! huh?! yeah you're just gonna stare aint ya? xDDD hehehe

  • @PhoenixHelix lol, that reminds me when one of my friends did that when he had to stare at the Gatekeeper, I think its suppose to hold up the other players and get them made at you. However a friend of mine who owns the game says there is a different version where you will get freaked out because later on during the staring contest bugs start to crawl all over him. She lives in the UK so I assume it must be on thier European game version I think.

  • @sillygrl23 Im from the UK and that doesnt happen, something similar to that only happens at one point earlier in the hour where he asks the 'old one' their age and comments "That old? you smell much older...." what you're thinking might be in the original Australian release under the name Nightmare. here in the UK and over in the US it was called Atmosfear since there was already the game Knightmare and the makers didnt want to have the titles confused for each other...or something like that xD

  • @PhoenixHelix You might have a point, I guess I just assumed it was the UK version because she owned it in the UK and maybe that she had the Australian version or just knew someone that had the Australian version and she saw it I guess. But you can't deny that the whole point of the staring contest was obviously to throw us off our metaphorical game.

  • @sillygrl23 Maybe. and yeah way to put you off though whenever we played a game we never took the contest seriously :P

  • @etnkltre I bought it back in September 2009, over at a second-hand place called "Cash Converters" for only $10.

  • @etnkltre

I didn't buy it. My older brother got it as a Christmas gift in 1991 or 1992, and since the game became popular with me, he gave it to me. You can find it on eBay, for I don't know how much. Prices vary on eBay. You know I want to get the other 15 or so Nightmare games. I had no idea they made so many Nightmare game sequals. I was under the impression they made 4, but they've been making DVD version ones. Just imagin what this game would look like on HD Blu-Ray with HD Audio.

  • @ResidentEvil7 is it just me or does he look like emperor palpertine from star wars?

  • @jamesthq Sort of. The Gatekeeper glows green; the emperor doesn't. The emperor has yellow eyes, the Gatekeep doesn't.

  • I have no idea i don't even think they have it in stores anymore this was like 6 years ago

  • i miss playing this with my friends Lol playing it at night XD

  • Yes that deep voice.

  • What impresses me is that during the staring bit, or any bits on the video where he's around, he never blinks. How does he do that? That's impressive.

  • @calculus400 if you look at his left eye I think that is he has it closed only slightly.

  • If you listen real carefully when the Gatekeeper announces #6 during HAVOC, you can hear the film crew speaking. A blooper.

  • You mean that deep voice while he's annoucning number 6?

  • Sounds like the voice distortion, just very distinct.

  • I wanted to get Nightmares 2 - 4, but could never find them. But some parts of this game has good music for listening in the car during Halloween time during the night.

  • I don't get the havoc part, your down to the last 7 minutes basicily and the gatekeeper decides to add it in.. how odd

  • The trick is that there are Time Cards that tell you to play HAVOC by doing something. What they don't tell you: all the HAVOC cards are timed to activate in less than six seconds starting when the clock reappears.

  • jesus this brings back memories!! my folks bought this for me and my bro for christmas when I was 10 (I'm 26 now lol!!). Haha those were the days...

  • @xxpurplexhorizonxx Im 25 now so I guess we both got it around the same age lol.

  • can someone plz put

the last 2 atmospheres on here

    plz that would be sweet

its the ones with the mummie

or the gatekeeper but not this one gatekeeper

    lol

  • aw thats to bad but u should get it because its pretty damn good and the zombie guy is awesome and he also says funny stuff:):):):)

  • When are u going to upload atmossfear 2 zombie

  • I never had that game.

  • @Unrulyevil5 i will do it, and witch and vamp

  • The good music starts at 7:30 (excellent) :)

  • i used to play this a long time ago i loved it ! lol

  • haha i think he have a patatoe bag on is head :D

  • That "Havoc" statement that the Gatekeeper talk about isn't just about being made to roll your own number, but also about the several Time Cards marked HAVOC that activate in a *very* short timeframe!

  • i dont know if i can saw that in french i will tell you :O

  • That distorted voice delay thing is so awesome.
