I just got a new psp 3000 model with 6.39 firmware I believe. I had a 2000 with all the emulators,but it was stolen. My memory sticks too,I got new stuff. Mainly my question is what emulators will work without downgrading it. I'm terrified to do that. I was scared when I did it too my 2000 model. I do still have my pandora battery from my 2000 though.

On my Fat PSP i have official firmware 3.04 with gpskai on it and it works and the funny thing about it is that I can play UMD that takes firmware after 3.04

No, it's a Gameboy Advanced Emulator. That works on the psp.

I have tried to use the mh gpspkai.rar and i have extracted the file and it says corupted file in my games folder when i tried to run it

Make sure you have custom firmware on your PSP. Once you download the file connect your PSP to your computer. Go to your E Drive and then go to PSP file and then GAME150 and put the folder in there. It should work fine afterwards.

im assuming you just got your psp then if thats true then you have sony firmare installed on it, and since you have 3.80 sony firmware you will need a method to hack your psp first like with pandora's battery but i've had reports that pandora does not work on psp slim with such a high firmware. So it looks like you will have to wait until a solution comes out.
