@1978JeepJ10 I see, you do not know the difference between flywheel horsepower vs horsepower at the wheels. Power from the engine is lost through the transmission and gears. A dyno actually measures power to the wheels, not the crank. Google it. The 4,7l engine is actually rated at 235 hp at the crank.

@1978JeepJ10 Stock dyno was 170 rwhp, last dyno was 308 rwhp so the gain was actually 130 rwhp. Almost double the stock output.

My EVO IX with a bbk turbo upgrade puts down 389awhp and that is only a 4 banger. I have under 4000 in mods and it runs 11.3 @ 122mph. You should find a car that makes more power for the money, but you truck does looks great, I just wouldn't put that kind of money into a truck. I think the ford lighting runs better times stock.

Like I said, it's the only Dakota I'd respect. Where I grew up, people use trucks to tow serious weight, usually boats. In order to tow a 8,000 lbs rig like that, you need a full-size, which is why toy trucks like Dakotas, tacomas, rangers, frontiers, and colorados are looked down on. Even Titans are considered small (5,000 lbs curb weight).

Going from HO cams to 206 cams you won't even notice a difference unless you get a cam specific tune. 206 are great cams but if you are really looking for significant difference go with 212 cams. If you are going to boost go with 224 cams.
