  • Oy oy ravers! This was one of my regular haunts back in the day. Grooverider & Fabio used to play regular and the lasers were great. 1992 - seems a very long time ago - I was 21 that year and celebrated it at Orange at Astoria. It was amazing! I will never forget those days.

  • Yeah, used to go to the Astoria every weekend till it started to get really moody later on. Love the tune at 1:50!! Always great lasers and tunes. I remember the scafold at the side of the stage used to vibrate to the bass! Bouncers were arseholes though!

  • them wer the dayz respect 90`s ravers

  • It's great watching, but make you a little bit sad that times will never be as good.

  • So true, it was the fact everyone was on the same happy pills with happy tunes. It was a whole night of guaranteed pandemonium and you still wanted more at 7am. The bouncers were moody was the only downside. It must be weird if you can see yourself in this video.

  • 3.20 tunne!!!!

  • Got a wicked flashback from this..they used to be great nights, spent most of the time up in the balcony watching everyone jumping around below, the lazer show was proper trippy with the 'orange' man running around on peoples heads !! thanks foe the memories !!

  • I used to 'ave it large at Astoria (Crazy Club, Orange @ The Rocket and Camden Palace mostly back in the day (among others).

I took my video camera a few times but don't have the tapes now. One of my old raving buddies must be holding on to them for future blackmailing use LOL.

  • Yeah Camden on a friday ruled it for me,during the late nighties they started to do revival nights on a friday with squirrel and rat pack.i dont mean to sound old but this really was the golden era of dance music kids today have'nt got a clue, back then they actually made music to dance to!!

  • yea same here,i used to go to camden every friday, from 1990-92,so many memories there, standing on the 1st balcony dancing up my dove wachin the lazer...:) someone used to throw poppers on the carpet on the ground floor by the bar!!what a rrruuuuussssshhhh as you walked through!!!!astoria & busbys on saturdays...studio valbons on sundays....just lived for the weekend...

  • That was after Dennis the Menaces and New Yorkers. . .I remember going to the Astoria in 1992 and during the element of the rave era of 1990 and 1991, 1992 was the year that attitude started to form. . This was the start of the first attitude I witnessed at a rave. .

  • Oh my god. How did you get this video. Some of my best memories come from Orange at the Astoria. I truly have a tear in my eye. Wicked post. Cheers.
