One can not compare an autocratic monarchy to a democracy, socialist, or constitutional monarchy. The Romanovs ruled by devine right for 300 years. The Tsars of Russia were the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church, as were most autocrats leaders of their religious orders.
Nicholas II still had homage repaid to him by Emperor Taisho of Japan in 1918.

@opchidexio He promoted Rasputin so much that at one point he was considered a God by the government...... A stupid way to save a monarchy :)
