Yea, I dont know what kind of friends you hang with, but I still have dude, and he is doing very well. Too smart to chase the laser now, but still cool to sit and watch TV with. And they dont get that big, he is full size and his length is only from my finger tips to my elbow.

Its a water dragon.
One of the many lizards people buy when they are young and then discard once they realize how big they get.
They are really great pets if you are prepared for them though.
