I noticed about 10 years ago that Donn is the voice of the referee in WCW vs. nWo World Tour for Nintendo 64. Don't believe me, just play the game! It is unmistakably him. He is in the credits for the game as well if you beat the World Tour. I always felt like I was the only one who noticed this.
Watching this video brings back memories of Seanbaby.com back in 2000.
Y'know, that trick, code, or whatever you wanna call it in Stealth ATF...now why wasn't that in Top Gun? Coulda saved that poor Angry Video Game Nerd, among other people, I imagine, a lot of time and grief. (But since I haven't played the game for myself, I couldn't say from personal experience if it really was difficult to land that plane, or if he was just acting for humor purposes.)
There was a Game Genie code that gives you a laser weapon also. I happened to find that easier to perform than the trick that looks to require three hands.
Where are you Shane? I miss you, you pothead! I remember watching a lame 80s show very early in the morning (can't recall the name) where the tips were more obvious than here, like "To continue in Ninja Gaiden, press start at the Game Over screen". Could you believe that load of crap! But as an 8 year old kid, you loved it...
THESE GUYS ARE LEGIT AND KNOW THEIR SHIT.

Silkworm NES is true to the arcade with ALL the secret powerups AND hidden bonus points? Well, color me impressed.

Hahaha. I have all three of these videos. #2 is by far my favorite though, can't beat the combination of Jim Allee and Donn Nauert.
The thumbs-up at the beginning, Donn saying "to initiate this.... awesome... trick", and Jim Allee's face during Jon Elway are all PRICELESS.

I agree it's hard to get the code to work, but you have to admit the laser really throws off the balance of gameplay in John Elway's quarterback.

Quarterbacks with lasers. What'll they think of next in video gaming? A FEMALE space bounty hunter? .......Nah!

Star Soldier's code WTF?!
artman40 3 years ago 4
This game was before codes were popularized as things that added value to games. It, like the Ikari Warriors code was not meant to be found.
A bigger wtf moment: how did anyone figure out what it was?
BigBangBlitz 3 years ago
Guess it was meant for game makers then while they were making this?
artman40 3 years ago
It's useful for weeding out bugs during the standard 20 minute testing process.
