Humvee - is Infantry Fighting Vehicles?! Lol, author of this video dont know differences between IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicles) and APC (Armored Personal Carrier). Humvee is jeep and if you put at him armor plates its still are jeep (armored).. In video I saw only three IFV: BMP-1(First in world IFV), Warrior and Bradley. Others vehicles are APC..

Deam  M-113 is best? bullshit, its have straight armor and in the beginning was armed only M2 when USA had M-113 USSR had BMP-1 with 73mm self loading gun and ATGM launcher for 9M14 Malyutka and so dengerous. Last many of those vehicles it's not Fighting but only armored carrier

@lagrangewei the HMMWV is not an IFV like the M2 bradly or russian BMP though it can destroy a bradly if it is the anti tank version with a TOW missle launcher actualy there are only 3 IFVs on this list the Brad the Warrior and the BMP-1 the rest are APCs or utillity viehicles PS the M113 is not a good combat viehicle its just cheap enough everyone uses them

You've mixed up armoured personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. Plus the BMP should be higher up as it is the worlds first infantry fighting vehical and has been produced in mass numbers and continues to be used to this day.

@G56z: I mostly agree, but the SdKfz 251, while offering far worse protection, served in the same role as the modern IFVs (of which, as you correctly stated, the BMP-1 was the first one). The M113, though, is an APC, although versions upgraded to IFVs exist. The Bren Gun Carrier and Humvee aren't anywhere near the definition of an IFV (armored infantry transport and fire support!). And I wonder why the Marder, Bionix, BMP-3 and CV90 don't even get a mentioning in this list.

The Stryker is loved, the humvee is too. Although the humvee is NOT an IFV, it is a gen purpose vehicle pushed too far into the IFV role in which it is obviously second rate to many other IFV out there. Oh, and the author isnt very well aware of what a "good" IFV really is, either. :) But, good try. Obviously, a yank, eh?

Come on most vehicles on this list cannot be categorized as IFV. They are merely APC. IFV distinguish themselves from APC typically by having a cannon and not just a machine gun.
