@lookingforjorge I'm a producer at a major videogame company, in my mid 30s, married with a kid on the way. I've worked mostly on portable systems and think they are really fascinating. My knowledge of gaming is literally why I have a career and I'm fortunate to be able to afford to collect the systems. It, along with several other hobbies brings me joy. Productive, maybe not but I have always enjoyed gaming and turned out eccentric to be sure but happy and well adjusted.

Yeah, I wasn't counting the DSi as it's not really a new system but a new model of one he already has and the 3DS hadn't come out when I made that post (it's only been out 3 weeks here, don't know about you). As for the Wiz and the Caanoo... I'm not sure I'd bother with them as compared to the Pandora they're a bit crap really and they don't have their own library of games, but I suppose for a completionist they'd be worth picking up.

Picked up a Dingoo recently and am disappointed because of a pretty major bug with the button functionality and the poor quality of emu. I would strongly recommend the GP2X over the dingoo if you can find one and are willing to put in some effort to get it to work properly.

Personally I loved, and love.., my Ngage. On 3d games the frame rate can be suspect but I get to play the original tomb raider and pandemonium's on the go. These happen to be two of my favourite games of all time, I have a meager selection of games but personally I thought they stoof up pretty well, in terms of gameplay, to DS and PSP.

I definately seem to be in the minority lol especially since I still use it as my main phone.
