Right now, I would give my eye teeth to even have one of these jobs. I have been out of work for 8 months. Have a Class A CDL with tanker end., but not going to drive OTR for 500 bucks a week. This is the same money and you don't have to sleep in your truck, and all the other bs that goes along with OTR hauling freight while someone is constantly on your ass. Anybody got any leads on water truck hauling in Texas?
@robertjohnson487 that was kind of a stupid fucking comment! lol so ban all trucks from public roads. deliver groceries to stores by ox cart, gasoline to service stations by bucket brigade! everything you eat, wear, drive etc has been delivered by truck.....
@swanny812 Without mechanics the world stops moving, they can teach a monkey to ride a bike but they can't teach um how to fix it. ;O) Wonder what all the water hauling is for.
@robertjohnson487 good luck with that, how the fuck do you think the world goes round, how the fuck do you think heavy machinery gets where it needs to go, think about that one next time you decide to exercise your cock buffer (mouth)
it's a water truck for the oilfield. the have a vacuum tank to suck water out of pits in the ground or tanks and they haul water to drilling rigs to use for drilling. when they get to the rig they can use their pump to push water out of their truck and into tanks or pits on the well site
@onionman113 The tank is a vacuum tank like they use for vacuum pumping of shit you dumb fuck. All you need to fill a water tank is a water pump. Why are they using a vacuum tank to haul water which is twice as heavy. It makes no senses. That big cap on the end of the tank is a clean out for solid waste that means a turd to you onionhead. But this is in Colorado and they do thing assbackwards. Onionhead remember one thing YOU CAN'T POLISH A TURD. Thanks for calling me a dumb fuck ONIONHEAD 113
@kennethrobinson123 i agree with onion man i getting into name calling but in the start tof the video it showed him putting WATER on a dirt road to keep the dust down but with out know for sure im not going to fight with ya
@kylefitzy yes they are spraying water on the road,to keep the dust down, but it's not for visibility in canada anyways,it's because of the dust that trucks stir up from the road called silt (very fine dust) will actually damage the plants and trees that grow close to the road, and will prevent new foilage from growing, this is a goverment requirement in canada, not too sure about the states though,so maybe it is just for visibility
@kennethrobinson123 wow. how fucking stupid are you kenne. what is this video called again? SO YOU WANT TO DRIVE A WATER TRUCK! when they are pumping, the liquid is coming out of a fucking pond! onionman was right, you are a dumb fuck.
Thanks, man. I'd actually already figured that out, but I appreciate it. You happen to know what the hell a water truck is for? One shot looks like they're spraying the roads to settle the dust, but then it shows them in the winter too.
I really haven't a clue, other than what you stated sounds good to me. The winter time part is what I don't get, the dry roads, yea that makes sense. Perhaps someone else could enlighten us.
I think maybe water trucks are for trucking water to remote places, like a logging camp or something, where there are no water pipes laid because the terrain is to rough and remote, or it's a temporary settlement. That fits with the shitty roads and scenery in the video. In the scene after :30, the truck in front is definetly laying water on the road. That would keep the 2nd guy from having to drive in a huge cloud of dust, for courtesy or to avoid him driving off the road cause he can't see!
@IC2720 i just wanted to remeber what it was like after i quit..drove through the seasons and just videod some of it..in the prcess of drilling for gas water gets in there and is separated and placed in a carch pond...we had to remove that water from the pond and dump it into another pond where it would continue in the life cycle of water without it being wasted...big environmental thing...spraying the road keeps the dust down and everyone happy
@justforever96 "Dirty Water". The band is "The Standells" from LA, CA and the "Dirty Water" was the first hit of the band in 1966. The composer was their producer Ed Cobb.
