  • LOL

  • its japans

  • you know... maybe you should ask those cashiers... who actually buys those, "yeah only weird white people.."

  • I would actually use those for my hands. XD

  • My Russian family has these large rubber pats with small, sharp needles poking out of them, and you're supposed to lay on them because its kind of like acupuntureit relaxes you. It does hur some people though, depending on the pain tolerance in your back, but I like it.

  • @ROFLKitty34

    Same here~

  • Notice how at 1:41, he put his foot in the left shoe, then he took the ball out of the right shoe...

  • @aggiekwon If you look closely, when the left shoe flips you can see the ball fall out. . . .

  • @aggiekwon LoL, hey I seen that to :)

  • When you need relaxation at night reach for your spiky balls!" -.- -.- THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

  • the manufacturer of daiso is Japan...

  • cute pillows ^^

  • LOL simon was thinking other stuff!! the whole time

  • Hey, my friend who's dad is from Korea has something like this. It's basically like a clicky pen with a sharp pointy spike instead of a real pen tip, then instead of writing, you stab it at the tips of your finger, and if it's painful it means it has stressed nerves there, and those nerves are connected to other nerves on your body like your face, legs, or something, so yeah. ^^ It's like acupuncture.

  • "So you reach for your spiky balls in the middle of the night."

    ...Oh Lord xD

  • I wanna get those just to keep em in my pocket for safety ;)

  • im sorry to say but i think i would b able to kinda enjoy it lol

  • :OOO MR.SIMPLE REFERENCE AT 1:07 (:

  • oh what a coincidence i was listening to roly poly -,-'

  • What's funny is that I have one but it's not for massage(: It's a stress reliever(: -3

  • @simonandmartina Where did you get those!? I actually want them. No joke there. It'd be fun to have those. O.O

  • NO PAIN NO GAIN

  • it's also for feed

  • "So you reach for your spiky balls in the middle of the night"

    I'm so immature XD

  • we have daiso in vancouver lol

  • @LollypopBoss Still, no...Don't you think their feet would have gotten seriously maimed if the mats they were jumping on were spiky like this?

  • Meh... i think they're made for calloused and work-roughened hands, like for farmers and such...

  • Those remind me of gumballs. Not the candy, but the tree. They have these spikey balls that really hurt.

  • It has to do with the concept of pressure point based massage.

And isn't Daiso Japanese? I could spend hours in a Daiso store...

  • Simon's face is so funny after the "round-balls" thingy.. TROLOLOL!

  • I think Asians' view of massage is to feel something "pain and unpleasant" so the pain you feel will go away? There're these stone kinda flooring things in my house garden and my parents always say that i should walk over them cuz the stones help my blood circulation. And when i get a bruise, my mum always presses it REAL HARD and says it'll get better soon - sometimes it really works. I guess it's kinda a Chinese oriental medicine thing? HAHA, maybe that's how acupuncture came about. :P

  • they use painful massages because Korean people-- old Korean people think that that's massage. o_O my parents are like that, so... yeah. i have experiences of my parents trying to give me hand massages... you don't know how that feels.

  • did you guys say "more better"? is that a right English?

  • I THINK I KNOW WHY THOSE ARE PAINFUL :)

first of all, im not sure if this is right... seeing as i just read this comment from somewhere (i think it was during one of U-KISS's Chef Kiss episodes?).

BUT, i read somewhere that koreans think that if something is painful, then it's good for you, like massages. unlike north america where everything is supposed to calming and relaxing, in korea its the opposite.

    i hope this helps !

  • Comment removed

  • lonely lonely... lol at the end. funny & hilarious as always. :)

  • I like simon's shirt. Where did you get that?

  • Asian and American has 2 totally different meanings of the term "massage". Asian thinks that "massage" is when you need to use something sharp and painful in order to ease the pain away. The more pain you feel, the more pain will go away. So it's like hurting you, yet you're sort of enjoying it too. (Yea, weird huh? ;)) While American's "massage" is when you just want to feel something wonderful and relaxation.

  • I have man hands. D:

    I'm a girl too!

    It's 6-inches and harder than a guy's hand. =____="

  • So before the video started....

I scrolled down to read the comments and I heard:

"So what you're saying is you want me to massage some prickly balls?"

    Lol. xD

  • Simon's face at 1:46... and the banana rofl!

  • where did u get the sound file for the meat tenderizer ;D

  • i guess thats what they use for the floor in 100 points out of 100 in the punishment room :3

  • @LollypopBoss No, those are massage mats, which are pretty painful if you stand on them for a long time or jump up and down on them like in the show xD

  • @InThe11thDimension

i know, i just meant the material that they used (:

  • Do you want to tenderize your meat in you're hands, this is how you do it.

  • we have DAISO shops in malaysia

  • LOL so hardcore. Especially the old people who tend to like these strange massage/nerve/blood circulation things XD

  • either theyr rly wimpy or the old ladies that use those r manlier than (insert manly man name here)

  • herpderp 3:33

  • LMAO

  • I actually wanna hear you guys speak Korean... XD

  • I have those and it feels soooo good on your hands(;

  • BLOW YOUR MINDDDD lol :P

  • So many cute hamsters!

  • OW! That really looks painful! It looks like cactus ball. If a cat touched that, it would probably jump high with a scream of pain! --- Sent From simonandmartina's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • There actually to simulate the blood in your skin so they are fine points ! or something...

  • i bet they were thinking of a meat tenderizer went they made those

because a meat tenderizer makes meat softer

so there for it makes your hands softer I figured it out!!!!!!!!

  • oooh i so wanna try those :::DDDDDD and no, im not masochist, but if im from finland and we like hack ourselves birch branches in the sauna, so maybe it says something (that were are just crazy people) ::D but still i so wanna try those!

  • uhm.. Daiso is from Japan :)

  • OMG Martina and I have the same ringtone!

Loly poly loly loly poly~~~ xD

  • i love how Simon smiles at almost everything Martina says

even though im a girl. but it seems like we have the same thinking, Simon xD

  • Lmao i love watching ur vids because im korean but i've lived in america my whole life and so i see ur point of view of things but all the stuff you make videos on (or majority... the inappropriate hangers were new to me) i've seen or had xD

  • so much sexual innuendo XD

  • @ilysillybilly Chill.

  • reminds me of the mats in the punishment room. Oh! My school! any one? ^^

  • @NP249Ella Oh they were like that? I never knew xD

  • @NP249Ella yes!!! i miss that show! lee joon shii lovely~

  • for all you smart people saying Simon stepped in the left shoe but picked up the spiky ball from the right shoe, THERE IS A SPIKY BALL IN BOTH SHOES.

  • Comment removed

  • My dad has them! XD I think it feels relaxing once in a while o_o

  • That's new... ball that scratch you back :-)

  • I went to daiso too see if these were legit. THE CONTAINER WAS HELLA BEAT UP.

  • 1:01-1:05 Martina your so cute when you said "Hay" xD Simon you dirty dirty man

  • lol when simon was just moving his eyebrows up n down and martina was like hey!

  • my mind was perverted this whole time

  • it's supposed to stimulate the nerves in your hands. the soft spiked ones wouldnt really do much. but yes things like that are painful but youll notice after a while your hands will tingle a bit after youve stopped thats the new energy/blood flow.

  • I thought the spiky ball was in the left shoe? lol

  • @kukuranger22 There's one in each shoes! You can see it roll in the floor after

  • So this may be late, but I have a korean foreign exchange student and I showed her the picture of the torture balls and she said they're used to circulate blood to make you healthier... I still think it's quite evil.

  • e.e that sound effect u made when u were rubbing the spikey balls .. it made me cringe lol x)

  • I'm really intrigued how painfully spikey they are.

  • as far as i know, the reason why they're hard and hurt is because it stimulates the bloodflow in ur hands xD

  • I dun wanna win this time wahahha!!! because of these painfull balls xD

  • I'm just an ocean of yos LOLLLL

Make a shirt of that sentence LOL

  • "I'm just an ocean of yos" (<--should be a shirt) LoL I seriously thought Hyomin said "ocean" to when I first heard Roly Poly XD

    T-T-T-ara Love!

  • "tenderize your meat in your hands"

  • haha! "its a meat tenderizer for hands"! x)))

  • I wanna play with them.

  • isn't Daiso, japanese 99cents store???

  • I was in this store in Canada and saw THE EXACT SAME SPIKY BALLS except they weren't massagers, they were fabric softeners... I'm serious.

  • @tuongvivu lol the fabric softener ones are rubbery and soft, i know because my mom has it :)

  • "Reach for your spiky balls in the middle of the night" ....LOL!!!!!

It's impossible not think dirty :cc Rounded balls...lol xdd

  • my dad uses that he says it feels good (:

  • Martina's 'teeheehee' like NigaHiga! LOL~!

  • dasio is tat store where everything is like asia's version of the 99 cents store right?

  • @waffles1800 kinda, everything there is 2 bucks

  • lol if this helps, the balls are spiky because the tips of the spikes that come in contact with your hands may hurt but is used for the purpose of helping blood flow. I know it sounds silly, i guess but its gewd~ there are also many pressure points on your hands the connect with your spine and many other parts of the body. the end.

  • Gosh if I ever get mad at my sister..... Gosh I wish I can those. Best threat ever!

  • haha koreans use like overwhelming things to make them happy. like when they drink really spicy soup, they're like "oh damn it's good" and my grandpa uses this too. koreans seem to like overhurting massage than those relaxing, nice, vibrater...xD

  • "Hey I'm Mr. Dirty blow ur mind" LOOOOOL~!!!!!1

  • "you reach for your spiky balls in the middle of the night"

  • haha related to the comment above

masturbation > better heart rate > more oxygen > gives you exercise and relaxation

  • wow...lol, that intro sounded really dirty.

  • woooh! it brings masocist to a new level!!

  • the pain allows your hands to relax AFTER the massage lol :D asian massages are just like that

  • it's actually statistically proven that asians have more tolerance to pain than other races LOL and everything koreans do--games, toys, etc. is painful lol i have these at home and they're stress-relieving and also good for increasing concentration and blood circulation :) these feel good man

  • Do you know th slippers with "spikes" i wear that when my feet ache.. That is really relaxing.. The pain takes may pain away.. :))))

  • just wanted to say i love simon's hair!!! XD lookin like super BMAF

  • ehehehehehe

    :P

  • man I wanted to see if Simon was actually going to eat the banana with the spikey ball in it!

  • "an ocean of yos"? I'm going to hear that all of the time now. haha

  • I want those!!

  • Um, doesn't tenderize mean "to make softer?" Cause then it all totally makes sense, haha...

  • Haha, I love the random sound effects in this video~

  • So most Koreans are masochistic?

  • Why do I feel like you guys are trying to please all the ELFs out here? You've made so many Super Junior references in the past few videos, even tweeted about how you liked their new MV better than Mr. Simple...

Did you receive that many complaints from ELFs on your completely fair review of Mr. Simple? I hope not. We're not all completely unreasonable... I apologize if so.

At any rate, lots of love from me. <3 Martina's laugh was so adorable in this.

  • @OkamiGohan I think they actually just really like random references! And let's face it, sometimes a Kpop reference fits so damn well xD

Alos, one of the reason I like these two is that they're honest and respectful- if they don't like a video they review for KMM, they'll say so, and no number of pathetic fangirls (or guys) will change that. (I detest those fans that take things to a whole new level...)

    P.S. Love your username ^^ Okami ♥

  • @SaraHussain Ahaha, one of their most popular things to do is make kpop references-- I was just pointing out how many SuJu references there have been recently. But I agree with you entirely-- they are not afraid to say the honest truth without considering if it is going to be the popular opinion or not... Even the most devoted of fans should be able to respect someone else's opinion. (I'm a die-hard ELF, but would never spaz out at someone just because of their opinion.)

    Thanks so much! :D

  • um you guys don't like that ball. so don't touch. don't make video

coz your opinions make other person have prejudice

actually that ball most used old person

why that use? well hands in many have vital point.

that use hands massage .. um i can't explain it

    that's an oriental physical science

  • but they look so harmless and cute!! :3

  • They did look glow-in-the-dark when they were in Simon's shoes.

  • Not only in Korea, my mom makes me sleep on a Chinese rug made of needles whenever I complain my back hurts.

It's really SHARP and if you move it will make you bleed, but it relieves pain :>

  • LOOOOOOOOOOL! SIMON GOT THE SPIKY BALL FROM THE OTHER SHOE! XD

  • ooooh I want it now,

  • BLOW YOUR MIND haha sorry I discovered you guys because of the Super Junior references, but you are so awesome! ^^

  • well, Asians like to counter pain with pain. It helps sometimes. :D

  • I really don't think they look or feel painful at all. but I would totally use those balls to to enhance my groins appearance so I look double as sexy in clubs. beauty is PAIN.

  • 1:06 LOLOLOLOL !!

    "Hey, I'm Mr.Dirty"

  • LOL I'm Korean and if you are curious if Koreans really like this kind of massagers, I love them! well my grandpa gave them to me. and i was like "Ouch, they are hurtful! " but few days later, they totally worked on me. Maybe they work on only Koreans? hahaha lol.

  • @kyjh96 I have to agree. My mom used to give me Chinese massages she learned from her father. A lot of them involved slapping, pinching, and making my back red. I loved it.

  • @tessalina haha yeah. i know! I got a Thai massage before, and it was also hurt for me but i kinda liked it lol xD

  • My grandma has those spiky ball hand massagers and they HURT!

  • WTF? Their dryer is in the Kitchen?! i JUST realized this.

  • 1:26 is that Martina's derp face? kukuku

  • Simon kind of reminds me of Marshall from How I Met Your Mother :)

  • @lovellykoko yesyesyesyes!!! thats what ive always though from day one of watching their videos!! somin and martina are like marshal and lily!!!

  • @lovellykoko OMG THAAAAAAAAAANK YOU DIJFDNDFKJDNDASKJSDNASDJKSDN

  • @lovellykoko Oh my gosh! I was thinking that all along!!! :DDD

  • I wonder if they have those at the Daiso here in Canada. I need to check it out lol.

  • Mace is a stick with a a spicky ball and maul is with a chain instead of stick xd

  • hahahaha and i really wanna touch those things lol

  • My Korean professor has those and uses them everyday... he says they help with his arthritis.

  • teeheeteehee lol

  • i like those and they feel good and im a WO-MAN

  • "So you reach for your spiky balls in the middle of the night." Simon. Why? xD

  • lmao. I just like the scene with putting the spiky ball in someone's shoe. Sigh... That would be awesome.

  • "what the blue jesus is this for?" oh simon

  • this is the 1st time i don't want the wtf care pkg

  • @123sherylin LMAO agreed!

  • LOL. Korean massagers scare me now. :D

  • You guys should get smart phones and get viber so you can call people all around the world.. like me!!! and it's free too. no joke

  • My dad has something like this except they're for your feet, & instead of balls, they're like a spiky stick on two rails that keep the stick from touching the floor. It tickles when I use it xD

  • I JUST NOW realized spudgy is on the ship's sail. LOL

  • Canadians are so soft.

  • I was having a bad day thanks you made laugh

  • maybe its not cuz it hurts. but its cuz white ppl are babies

  • my mom has those and she loves them .Ours is actually made out of nice dark wood and has larger spikes. Just as some exercises allows you to exercise unused muscles of your body, the spiky balls are to massage your hand almost by pressure points. Koreans believe areas of your hand are linked to other parts of your body so by putting pressure in those areas, the other parts of your body are indirectly massaged.

  • I wonder if those people who disliked their WTF videos disliked it for THEM or the PRODUCT.

  • My dad loves those hahah !

  • Ahh they're supposed to help the circulation in your hands and anywhere you roll them on. lol Gels dont really like get to you directly so we use a lot of sharp prickly stuff xD We are really big on the blood circulation thingy. haha

  • They usualy have just plain round balls that you move like that because I think it's suppose to be peaceful/calming. I have some and they have bells inside. I've never heard of those spikey ones.
