It is strange that SF4 only recognised approx 1GB video memory when NVIDIA GTX 295 has approx 2GB.

how come i cant set 1920x1080. i have a 24" monitor. i cant go beyond 1440x900. what gives?

your monitor may only support certain resolutions, my video card can run up to 2560x1600 but my monitor only supports up to 1360x768 so thats the bottom line.
