Unfortunatly the day Tornado was in i was still suffering from a cold i got on the Friday before making standing in the cold very uncomfortable. Luckily for me, my house is about 10 minutes away from the station so i didnt have to walk far to get in the warm.

If I had know about this, I probably would have tried to catch a look as it went through the medway area. Some great footage. It also picked up some passengers stranded in London on its way back I read on the kentonline co uk website

I read about Tornado picking up a few people on the evening run, just shows you steam hasnt had its day.

Shame, Tornado was definantly showing up South Eastern trains by running pretty much on-time.

yeh i read on the BBC website they picked up some of the people stranded at Victoria and gave em free seats down to Dover and Canterbury

Cheers mate, was quite annoyed with South Eastern for cancelling trains to Ashford from Canterbury meaning i couldnt get to Sandling. At least she was running today.
