  • man i wish my friends had the balls to get some bikes

  • @joshuaspolar

i know right? none of my friends want one :/

  • @oHU22ICANEo where do you live hurricane?

  • @joshuaspolar

    california bro...

    i used to have a 2011 kawi 250r but i upgraded to a 2007 GSXR 600... i need people to ride with!!

  • @oHU22ICANEo in SoCal? you know where West Covina is? Yeah I had a 08 250r but upgraded to the 07 650r a couple months ago. Waitin for my 2bros to come in the mail =]

  • @joshuaspolar

yeah man i knw were wc is... you know where riverside/corona is? thats where i live at...

  • @oHU22ICANEo yeah Corona isn't too far like maybe 45min. Hey man if you want to go for a ride sometime and get some food somewhere like head west or south or something I think that'd be pretty cool. let me know!

  • @joshuaspolar

    u got a facebook bro??

  • @oHU22ICANEo hey did you ever send a message to my facebook? cuz I just realized I denied a couple earlier this week if I didn't recognize the name

  • @joshuaspolar Damn you two, this is like a craigslist lost connection section or what???? Youtube has personal private e-mail...I don't need to get updates every time you two want to hug. Common now.

  • @Wonderboy0987 hey if you want a hug you could've commented any time

  • How old are you guys? im younger and im trying to get a bike soon...i was wondering about your 929

  • @KTMdude07 I'm 21 (on the 929), friend on the green ninja is my age and other friend on the blue gsx-r 750 was 19 at the time I think. 929 is a GREAT bike and honda has always been reliable, which is why when I sold it I stayed with honda and bought the 2009 Repsol 1000rr. I would vote AGAINST buying a liter bike as a friends but work your way up, but encourage a 929 in your future.

  • @Wonderboy0987 how much was insurance on your friends who was 19?

  • @thejacoboconnor

go to markel insurance for motorcycles. u cant beat their prices. i paid 250 for a full year liability.

  • @KTMdude07 929 for your first bike? :D Dude, you gotta be kidding me. :D Man...no offence, but you'll end up hitting a tree during your first ride. I'd suggest 250 Ninja, don't underestmate the number "250" it'll go 0-100km/h with 5,1 sec with top speed around 180km/h, I think it'd be enough for the starting ;)

  • @fortheitf Very true! Don't get me wrong, there are people out there that can get a liter as their first and be fine but its very rare. The guy on the green kawi STILL has it and rides it. They are GREAT, reliable, awesome motorcycles and funner than hell in the corners!

  • @fortheitf ive rode quite a few ninja 250s and they bore me to death lol

  • you guys looks like a bag of skittles with all the pretty colors

  • It certainly was heartwarming to hear the G-man laugh while staring what was probably himself according to the vid desc. years ago. Thumbs up this video

  • @oprahb747 He defiantly loves it. Since this video, I have purchased a 2009 CBR Repsol 1000RR. He cannot believe how far motorcycles have gone in the world. He was asking me questions about every nut and bolt on the bike and took tons of photos as I left their house haha!

  • Is that the "Brady Bunch" house in the background?

  • @TheRonaldo666 You can argue that it is being that my actual name IS in fact Brady, but unfortunately it is not HAHA!

  • I LIKE THAT

  • That dude on the CBR has my helmet.

  • @jeffmoto72 thats me, helemt was a birthday present and good to start with but very cheaply made. I quickly upgraded but still have the helmet as a back up

  • i had a 94 gixxer 750 for my very first bike never riden before and i did great rode safe never crashed but did have a few scary moments truning and not leaning the bike down far enough but also that bike weighed 430pounds so after having that bike for 3 months i upgraded to a 2000 r6 less weight more power and better handling it is the best bike i have ever owned so far.i rode my buddies 06 r1 and was amazed on how great that bike handled and throttle response was.

  • how old are u guys?

    and how much is insurance?

  • nice hoodie

  • love the 929

  • are the bike here all 600cc becouse i want to get a gsxr 600cc but but it to a 33bhp so i can have it at 17 :) i just want to no if its a good bike thanks

  • @smoke01234 all of the bikes are in the description.

  • what exhaust is the 929?

  • Haha at least your gramps likes bikes! I bet you guys had a sick ride

  • @blundercat87 It was a fun ride but unfrotunatly the guy on the blue gsxr crashed on that ride. He came around a easy left hand corner and hit some gravel from cars pulling back onto the road from the shoulder. Went into tank slap and panicked slamming into the guard rail on the right. He was alright, hurt his leg when it got caught between the bike and guard rail and hurt his hand, bikes carbs got flooded a bit but we continued the ride later on.

  • @Wonderboy0987 Bummer man. I just got back from a trip to Alaska a little while ago, and I took the exact same spill in Northern BC. Hit some gravel that was actually spread into the middle of the road going about 55 and slid into a rock ditch. No fun!

  • @Wonderboy0987 Sorry to hear of the blue gixxer crash! hope he's ok :( but look at that excellent protection clothing your wearing! its a recipe for distaster! hope you guys learn from this mistake.

  • @SteffoBoy87 this was soon after we all picked up our bikes. So after the purchase there was a lack of funds for all the gear needed. Happens with a lot of people I know for sure. In fact, I lend my spare gear to people who have not had a change to buy gear of their own yet. Since this video, yes, we have bought gear. I have full leathers as well as summer gear "proper gear" and I'm looking at trading the 929rr and buying a 2009 cbr 1000rr now. The guy on the GSXR was fine, but sold the bike.

  • yall musta had a load of fun

  • yer ur bike sounds MEAN bro

  • @TheLucan92 Thanks buddy! I appreciate the comment

  • @Wonderboy0987

great grandpa, i also got a grandpa who loves motorcycles, he had a kawasaki himself, old one though.

  • в чем смысл?

  • the yellow honda is it? it sounds sweet

  • @colton11dennis - Thank you, yes its a 2000 CBR 929rr. pipes cut, gutted and butterflied tip. Sometimes its a little too much but over all it has great sound.

  • haha ur grandpa seems coool

  • It's a great thing that your grandpa is still interested in bikes; it stops the aging process :-)

  • @Plutonium9 - haha ya! I recognized your name when I saw the comment, I'm "Brady" the guy who hosts Tuesday Night coffee lol!

  • Are you a member of PNWriders? I'm here in Hillsboro.

  • cbr is painted i bet she have a few crashes

  • @paneksshops The 929 hasn't ever been painted, the stock tank is the '00 bumble bee paint scheme. In 2001 they reversed the colors and changed the shade of yellow on it.

So the fairings I have on it are 2 piece Shark Skin fairings with the '01 paint scheme.

  • very nice :)

  • OMG your grandpa is so cool! I do it everytime too :D i get really really excited i start jumping and all XD just because of your grandpa you got a suscriber :D

  • I love grandpas. :)

  • His reaction is pretty much my reaction everytime I so much as hear a sport bike.

  • @HunterPilot24 me tooo :D

  • haah im da same wayy ... but know i have my own bikee but ti really fun going out there with mad people

  • nice bikes i wish i had one :(

  • 0:24 is awesome!

    I like your grandpa ;D

  • Pipe sounds almost like my boys zx10 with a hotbodies exhaust. Thing did nothing for power but it sounded sick

  • ye ur grandpa is suppper cool :D

  • nice soundtrack and nice bikes

  • great video man

  • looking good bro

  • Kinda like My grandpa haha

    Looks like fun :)

  • Grandpa was a great addition to the Vid. Grandpas are awesome :D

  • your grampa is so awesome

  • Thats awesome man me my brother and my stepdad plus my mom ride too. Its ace.

  • what's the exhaust on the cbr929rr ??

  • Unfortunately I have yet to find out...Ive been searching since I bought the bike for alike sounds but its hard to find. The pipe is unmarked and cut 6" from the previous owner.

Its also gutted and the tips butterflied out.

  • Wheres your leather?

  • no leathers at the time, this was around when I first got it. I have full leathers now.

  • Wish my granpa was like that..... He says i get a bike he will kick me out lol.

  • lol cute fuckin parents kid

  • WELL SAID!!! "people out grow their ego and kill themselves" i've ridden some of the most powerful bikes out there. including my 170hp k7 750...but always with poise and respect. never been down...all the gear all the time...and never any trouble. cute little ninja and nice antique gixxer! mom looked so proud. "our little squiddy is growin up fast"

  • How did you manage to get 170hp from a K7 750?

  • precision up-grades my friend and a punch port and polish. boost...bottle...and..intercooler....wide open air in. valves and a cam.....oh yeah 112 octain in the tank. im called the "busa killer"...lol

  • its a sleeper. except for the intake sticking out the side it looks all stock...love when they roll up and see the "750" on the cobra fin..and think"no sweat"...lol then the beast comes alive and soon the crying starts......lol. but seriously...you can get 15 or 20 hp with a cam and a port and polish if its done right...little hotter plugs and some hot fuel. 104 maybe.

  • dont get crazy with the fuel without talking to a pro tho...you'l burn it up! sure as shit. and most people dont realize it but a k-7 will run better on 87 octane then it will on premium fuel. its noticable difference too. almost everybody i know runs super in their bikes and most of them are set up to run on 87. "if their stock"

  • k its just my opinion ..ride safe

  • just sayin that i think that 600's are a waste because u outgrow the bike fast then you lose money on the resale, look around and see how many 600's you see in the paper vs 750's 900's 1000's. and as far as dont need to start out on the dirt you are dead wrong...a person needs a lot of experience riding where there is no stress of stop lights, speed limits, traffic, pedestrians and so on before they go on the road...the ones that just buy a streetbike with no experience feed the statistics

  • Not necessarily, the guy on the 250 inthis video has had it for over a year without want of a new one.

I have a friend who is a VERY experienced, VERY serious and good racer who has ONLY ridden 600's currently on a 600rr and wont move up to a liter.

  • and i forgot to say if youve never rode a bike you need to start on the dirt first.

  • you dont need to start on the dirt at all..street is just fine to start on in a controlled environment.

  • wow that was a fast comment....I think even 600 are a bad purchase for someone that plans on rising a lot...you can always hold back on the throttle no? whats the top end on a 250 ive always wanted to know

  • rise alot how? and yes you can always hold back the throttle but there are more people than you think that cant stop themselfs from hammering the throttle..The death rate of motorcycle riders this year vs. last is considerably higher, mainly cause people buy the motorcycle for what ever reason and they think theyre a better rider than they are and they kill themselfs. I personally had 2 friends die within months of eacother cause of it.

  • top speed is about 100/115mph on a 250.

  • what kinda idiot buys a 250 anyway besides for the track

  • a new rider who actually has a brain on safety and a good first bike to buy.

Too many people get big heads and think they can handle even a 600cc bike and get cocky and kill themselfs.

a 250 is an AMAZING first bike, HIGHLY rated and a good choice for anyone who wants to start riding motorcycles.

  • kris40oz123 u have no clue what u are talking about. 600 bikes push 115 horsepower, and they are fast as fuck. People don't out grow those bikes they outgrow their ego and kill themselves. And why the fuck would you NEED to start out in the dirt.

  • Amazing gear you have...perfectly suits the 929! Great job for removing the mirrors too, were pointless anyway! o_o

  • Before posting pointless sarcastic comments think, or ask.

I had no gear and no money after purchasing...Though anything could happen, I rode slow and safe before picking up FULL GEAR the week after this video.

The mirrors we're already off the bike prior to buying and new mirrors we put on the bike the day after this video.

Revise the comment maybe, or shall I call you a douche bag.

  • When you appear like that on a public website, you should be aware of the risks buddy :). Ride safe!

  • When you comment like that, you should be aware of jack ass replies like mine :) LOL!

I always ride safe, and in full leathers too HAHA! event in 100 degree heat...but with a camelpack!

  • your grandpa is the man

  • My granpa used to get ecited with this stuff too haha

  • grampa's cool

  • cool grandpaa, pord mom she look sad.

  • squids

  • dick

  • your the squid

  • cool grandpaa' ! :))) lool

  • nice

  • I had a 250r back in July, traded that in for a R6s. Yeah big power difference

  • lmao so wheres the bikes... all i see is scooters =P

  • and what is it that you ride...

  • 98 cbr 900rr bord., camd, sprok. 2+ back -1 front, full yoshi, weisco pistons, hinson racing clutch, race rims powerd coated rapd in metzlers supersport track slicks.... =)

  • good, your a rider...So you know, its not the bike its the rider then

  • ya i know =)... i just like busting peoples balls lol.

  • no jokes

  • make sure you take out the baby car seat before you go out and try and race your 14 second 1/4 mile neon . lol all i can say it let me down .

  • lol yes stock which the car manly was then =) currently gt 35r

  • nice . i had a 98 neon DOHC back in 2000 as my first car . i had I bought a ice man cold air . the performance chip and a motor mount . and (glass pack ) slip on exhaust . and i ran a 14.2 . that was fckn fast back then . smokn all the hondas lol

  • lmao nice.

  • lawlz at the 250. my best friend has one too. Just dont beat on him too much:)

  • grandpa should be on the back of the GIXXER! hehehehehe.......... Did the 250 got left behind? hehehehehehe

  • not even close...he can rip on that 250..They are way under rated.

There was a 250 at the local PSSR track days not long ago smoking liters in the corners!

  • Mmmm.... Interesting Wonderboy. Yeah, i used to have an 09 250R. Fun bike to be on it!

  • Cool grandpa :D

  • cool i ride a 2001 honda cbr929 to lol red and black chrome rims.. its my dads.. but i ride half the time.. everywhere.. lol im 14 btw turning 15 in bout 5 or 6 months

  • and your braggin bout being too young and riding something with too much power why? kinda dumb if you ask me

  • lol hey im just saying well i can handle it..

  • You gotta be smart to "handle it" and if your 14 and riding illegally, let alone bragging about it on a public site...your not smart enough to handle a 250 bud..Go back to peddle bikes till you know what your doing

  • uh im not bragging =l ... i just wanna kno at wat age can u get ur motorcycle permit or liscence ?

  • You are bragging bud!...If you wanted to know that you would have asked stating

"Im 14, almost 15 and wondering when i can get my motorcycle permit."

    NOT

    "I ride a 2001 honda cbr929 too......**its my dads..but I ride half the time..everywhere..lol im 14 btw turning 15 in bout 5 or 6 months."

I just say this..Id wait till your 18-19 to get it...Cram some useful education in your brain first

  • lol ok w.e u win

  • i like this :L :L :L funny stuff! JOKER

  • .. uhh?

  • ur a joker....

  • the 929 and the gixxer are fuckin sick, nothin against the kwak, i just love those turn of the century bikes.

  • i ride a GSXR 600, '04. I really like the look of the ninja 250. I am thinking about geting one for my wife.

  • awesome! I know many couples who's husband wants to get their wife info riding or the other way around and many who have started on the 250r and didnt regret a second of it.

    Great starter bike!

  • theres no honda there??

  • Those are some nice bikes!

  • thank you!

  • haha i love your grandpa. i wish i still had mine

  • thanks, sorry for your loss

  • well no one lives for ever :)

im saving up for a 05 zx6r, is it any good?

  • and ps your bike is fucking sick! (the honda)

  • thanks man! Appreciate it....Once this weather clears up a bit out here Ill be trying to get some good videos of how it sounds under load...front end comes up very easily and with the cut pipe the thing SCREEAMS

  • sweet cant wait to see it/

  • when your going to buy a bike it isn't that big a deal, just remember that its a question of taste when you choose bike. No one is better then the other (in same horsepower range) you just need to try them and see wich one you think look best and a good thing to think about is the height of the bike. Not all bikes are as big/tall as another. What I did was I went down to the local-bike-store and tried some of the bikes and after test driving them I choose the Suzuki gsxr. Have fun trying ;)

  • that ride, the blue GSXR decided to stuff itself into a guard rail...

  • how tall are you man? im 5'7''....and im getting real close to 5'8''......you think im tall enough for a gixxer 600? or your 929? i just wanna find out for future reference

  • youll be good on a gixxer 600.. my boys got one and hes about your height. hes doin just fine.

  • thanx for your insight man! i appreciate it............ not many ppl take their time to answer this comment...it gets on my nerves....thanx again! be safe

  • no prob. best thing to do though is go out there and sit on some bikes!!!! look through craigslist and search through diff. bikes you would like to get. make appts. to view them ( even if youre not serious about it lol) and sit on them.. get a feel for diff. bikes.

  • Im 6'2" btw..

  • how does that 250 handle on the road dose it keep up with you guys

  • in the corners the 250 is VERY nimble and corners like no other...come straights obviously the larger motor pulls away but if you know what your doing you can rail the hell outta those 250's, their great bikes

  • hey man that 250 looks great, it is hard to tell the difference between the other two, i wish 500 had the same looks like the 250, i got the 500.

  • weight and power would be the biggest differences...I havnt ridden his bike though

  • er5? thats a swaet looking bike faired or not. gpz500. now thats a diffeent story...

  • DUDE!!!!! ive been looking for this vid for like 1 year now!!!!! thanks to ashfoot i found it!!!! i also discovered your channel!!! kool

  • thats one cool as grandpa.

  • I always liked the 929. Where's Hagg Lake?

  • great bikes

  • Great bikes, and im glad to see you guys aren't going out in t-shirts and shorts

  • thanks man! tried goin out in that stuff once...wont ever do it again. Got an exposed frame so aside from not feeling safe at all my legs get burnt on my frame haha.

In this video I am wearing BMX gloves..a hoodies and jeans mainly cause of lack of funds but Im fully geared up now.

  • nice video. = ) i liked it. All very nice bikes.

  • thank you

  • you are very lucky to have your granparents alive, and they seem very proud of you, it was nice to watch thanks man!!

  • nice bikes but i feel bad for ur brother lol...250

  • thats actually my friends brother....the ninja 250r's are very underrated...yes their slow in the straights compared to the other 2 but they tar up the corners like no other...VERY good bikes
