Andre had acromagely, aka giantism. It is a disorder caused by a tumor on the pituitary gland. Paul wight , "The Big Show" had a similar disorder, but he had surgery to removed the pituitary galnd. Andre, sadly, refused surgery. It was tough being Andre. When taking a plane anywhere, he had to buy at least two seats. He heard about a new movie called Star Wars, and wanted to see it,but he knew he couldn't fit in the little theater chairs.

we all know mark henery wasnt the biggest but strongest is debatable. Andrea had an advantage and disadvantage. He had unreal strength but his size made it exceptional hard for him to train to be like most athletes.
