This is outdated technology. I refer to Stanford university and MIT. Paper batteries and nano technology are the future. Within 3 years a revolution will take place on the battery technology market, I promise you that. More power, less weight, more durable and way cheaper, I'm talking about normal paper, ink, and nano tubes made from carbon. Check out Stanford university, It is real and it is out there.
Note: A fully charged battery shouldnt freeze up to -40 below; however, a battery that is discharged can freeze and crack the battery caseThis is true with any battery. Thanks for your comment, we appreciate feedback and will send to our vendor to put on file and possibly do more testing if more comments were sent but this battery has been rated #1 by top consumer magazine two years in a row!!!
There is no record of any complaints or concern in reference to a DieHard Platinum case found to have cracked. The cases are in fact made from Poly-Carbonate which is (8)x stronger than the industry standard (Polypropylene). The DieHard Platinum battery has been tested to minus (-40) below. In extreme hot temperature climates its not uncommon to find under hood temperatures in excess of ~250 degrees where the batteries have been tested.
@SearsAuto This comming from a company that doesnt want to make a battery look bad insted of seeing it in the real world. Just like ford saying they made the best engine, tested it in all temps with no problem. Then the hit the road and nothing but fail. I worked for you, I could say a lot of bad things lol. 2 batts came in, the case was broken on the corners from the insides expanding. I personal took these from the customer, held them, put them on the core table lol. you cant tell me different
I used to work at sears auto center. These batterys are good if kept in a normal temp. In hot they would dry up, and in cold they would freeze. They are also not a diehard. There a odessy. Just a different color. I sold quite a few. then most of them came back once the winter was over. They all froze and broke the casing. We coverd them by the warranty but... Not sure what to say other then when they work, they WORK. But need to stay cool and not cold.
These battery's are fantastic! We have a bunch. They one in my dads 1951 Chevy pickup completely died. Put it on a charger it was as good as new!
Oh and BTW these are rebadged Odyssey Battery....... but about $75 cheaper!

You do a much better job building batteries than casting your videos. What community theater group did you hire your spokesmodels from?
