  • Culinary arts pays good depending on where you are employed,

    try aiming for head chef of a college or something that willalways be there,and pay good.

  • You will work your life away and miss holidays, weddings, parties weekends ,sleep all day work all night

    10 - 16 hour days sometimes 6 days per week. 2 days off in a row is a gift

  • pure propaganda .... the indusrty is shit so is the pay and hours

  • Hours long , Have to deal with demanding customers ,the pay sucks compaired to the hours , always working weekends and holidays,no creativity in the kitchen. just following pars and specs to reduce food cost.

  • i was a restaurant manager for 20 years. IT"S THE WORST JOB IN THE WORLD. Tons of hours , holidays and weekends.
