Hi CeeCee, love this idea. I just purchased some ultra fine glitter and am going to give this a go. Thank you for sharing your clever idea with us. Gracie
@sewgracious If you love glitter, you'll looooooooove this! I know I keep repeating myself, but it's really addictive so please put away any valuables before you start playing with the glitter because some of your prized possessions might find themselves all blinged up!
Hi! I just came over from Sharons channel (Night Owl) I wanted to see how this was done. Gorgeous finished piece. Thanks so much. And I'll be back. I watch way too many videos! lol Thanks again, Jessica
Just found your channel through smscraper, so have become a subbie. I am familier with this glittering technique but didn't know you could colour with copics so thanks for that. The cards look stunning. Also using peeloff's!! who'd have thought. I must now revisit my unused box full and see what I can do with them. Thanks for sharing - Lynn
@Scrapitydoodah Yeah, the peel-off's are coming back! I have a whole stash of them but mostly in gold and silver. I'll have to see what I can do with that. Thank you so much for subscribing and commenting.
@mazajpeter I just tried with my Stampin' Up markers but because they are water-based the ink doesn't adhere to the glitter permanently. When I touched over the glitter, it rubbed off quite significantly. So I would suggest alcohol-based markers.
Great video. I was familiar with the glitter technique, but not coloring them with Copics. Wow! You and your viewers might want to use a bone folder to burnish, if you haven't thought of it yet. Much less wear and tear on the fingers. :-)
@MsFishinkitten I'd have to try it! If you do, please let me know. Although if you want to stamp, I would suggest that you do before adding the glitter.
beautiful! it looks like stained glass!!! my LSS in Bathurst, NB sells the peel off paper and Glitter Ritz. I have some of this but never used it, because I honestly didn't know what to do with it. Thanks for sharing :)
@smerida8 I got mine at my LSS but here are the names of 3 manufacturers: Elizabeth Craft Designs (elizabethcraftdesigns(dot)com ), Magenta (magentastyle(dot)com) and Peel-Off's (peel-offs(dot)com). HTH!
You totally rock! I want your pajamas!!!!!! OMG you have to tell me where you got them! LOL Gotta have them! Hahaha.... Thank yo SO MUCH for making this video. I've been looking forward to it and it was fantastic. I love the finished product and the whole "color with your Copics" part was a total surprise to me. How awesome! Thanks again so much for taking the time to do such a great detailed video. It was so fun to watch. Happy New year!!!!!!
@smscrapper LOL Sharon, that's right -- you love owls! Believe it or not, I bought that pj's in the US 2 years ago. I think at Target in Plattsburgh, NY. We sometimes cross the border to save money. Thanks for the compliments and I hope you give this technique a try and show us!!! Happy New Year to you too, sweetie.
@creationsceecee I checked at target online and they are out of stock in my size :( they only have XXL! I put in my email so they would contact me if they ever get any back in stock. I'm crossing my fingers!
@nbreault1 Merci beaucoup!
The swatch/sample for the lids is pretty ingenious.

Great Video and the glitter is awesome!! I don't have any copic markers but could you use Stampin Up markers and a blender pen? Would that work?

@Platurner If you don't spend too much time in one place, your Copic markers won't get damaged. Thanks and have a great 2012!
