  • @beripped4life also agave has been processed. A "real" natural surgar is green stevia or raw honey or raw unrefined cane sugar.

  • @awsevenn It is true. I only use agave nowadays when baking for the kids over the weekend or some rare occasions. It is lower on the glycemic index, though, so it will have less of an effect on your insulin level

  • @beripped4life be careful with the whey protien. usually they have aspartame or a unnatural sweetner in them. Also some brands of whey protien are denatured. THis form of whey is not good for you. Short term you wont see any problems. Good brands of protien are "sun warrior or one by "dr.Mercola". ...check it out.

  • damn how much did that box of shakeology cost?

  • baby crying :-)

  • are all veggies in plastic bags the same? since theres alot of different brands. or is the only different the price

  • I Just made a beacbody fitness account and i think you're my coach i hope so because you are very informative

  • Foooooood fight

  • Ye but I'm fatter than u bitch

  • I'm as

  • Wow! thanks for taking things out of the frige, you go above and beyond

  • Hello coach, I just received the P90X program and I’ve watched countless videos these last couple of days about P90X and the best supplements to go with it, but I’m not quite sure WHEN exactly to take these supplements. I’ve heard about taking a the pre and post workout shakes, also to take one for breakfast, and one before going to bed, etc etc. So if you could shed some light here on the “right time” to take these shakes I’d appreciate it. Thank you.

  • @car6441 As far as supplements, my recommendation is whey protein, omega 3, multivitamin, a recovery drink and if your budget allows, Shakeology. Fiber is also good to supplement depending on your diet.

  • @Beripped4life does that whey protein have too much artificial sugar? or sugar? ( the eas brand)

  • This is exactly what I needed to see. Great informative video and you are an excellent example of p90x's great results.

  • You have an absolute wealth of information here Leo. I'm preparing to convert my lifestyle (p90x starting next monday) and organize my eating habits. These food options are all very viable and for the most part seem reasonably priced.

Actually, there are some foods with splenda. I have heard very bad things about splenda and I find it rather odd that you consume it being the guru on nutritional values that you are. Why splenda?

  • @sublidieminal Thank you and I look forward to helping you get started. As far as splenda, I've read mixed reviews about it and personally, I am not a big fan so I don't overuse it. as a matter of fact, while looking at my pantry right now, the only thing that has splenda is my sugar free polaner but that's something I eat only sporadically when I have the "attack of the sweet tooth". However, lately, I've been having as a little indulgence some almonds coated with powder dark chocolate.

  • @amsk83r I use the R/R and have only one serving which is about 220 calories.

  • Will it greatly impact my results if I don't drink protein shakes? I can't stand the taste of them. Do you think it will make much of a difference.....can i substitute it with something else? Thanks.

  • @cbsusieq Protein shakes are meant to supplement your protein intake. If you don't have a problem getting an adequate amount of protein from sources such as Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, milk, beans, meat and poultry than you might not need to supplement it. You are right about the taste...to extent. There are several protein shakes on the market that taste good. One of my personal favorites is Chocolate Muscle Infusion Black which tastes fantastic with some PB2, banana or berries.

  • this has been verry helpful I on on the 1,800 calorie plan :)

  • ? in the nutrition plan ? It mentions 1 cup of oatmeal...is that coocked or uncooked?

  • @mattinlr1 It is uncooked

  • Can you basically eat what you want and still get the results? I am not talking about eating greasy, fried foods everyday....

  • @Annazayla Eating well makes your journey easier and will definitely get you results; however, if you want to maximize your results you need to incorporate various ratios of protein, carbs and fats. The first phase is the fat shredder phase and consists mostly of protein sources.

  • Esos jugos de goya saben bien.. I cook for a living in New Orleans trust me its easy to put on the lbs lol but i found it p90x offers a lot of variety and i keep it simple three ingridients per mean and i only have problems with the condiment i'm working recipies to make sure my sauces aren't too salty i tend to used a lot of salt and butter... I heard too much salt is bad for you i can only imagine butter...but its hard to let go

  • @pedrojoaow The fruit concentrates are really good. As for butter, I don't even remember the last time I had the real thing. Try Brummel and Brown. It has yogurt, it is really creamy and has half the calories and fat of regular butter.

  • I just started the program I'm glad my diet looks similar like yours. thanks

  • @pedrojoaow You are welcome and If you need any help, please don't hesitate to ask.

  • You're welcome.

  • @Beripped4life more vids bro!

  • thank you!

  • Very good video my friend... I'm going to share this with my team

  • great vid Leo- coach wayne would be proud of your diet !
