The "race" referenced was the arms race between The Warsaw Pact and NATO.

"Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?" is a reference to the fears of the cold war.

It should have been a former russian leader e.g. Leonid Brezhnev, not Hitler in this movie.... or Reagan for that matter.

Hated the very literal pictures that illustrated this picture, it's like photo bucket had thrown up on this. I love the song, but none of these pictures really fit the tones except maybe the ones that didnt go with every lyric. They got annoying so i didnt keep ending up scrolling out of the view of the video every time i listen to this.
