Lol, it is true that compound is easier to shoot, but can you shoot these kind of scores with compound? Compound is not some kind of magic bullet that instantly makes you a 1400 shooter.

Compound is not necesaraly easier it just has advantages over the recurve ex arrow velocity and they are more forgiving. i made a recent switch from recurve to compound and with a comp i got 290-295 scores but with my recurve i have only obtained a 260-265 area score.

anyone can shoot compound it doesn't take as much skill as a recurve or longbow does

it requires a very different type of focus, the margins for winning are smaller - making it very difficult in a different way.

Longbow is easily harder to shoot amazing scores than recurve as well.
