I just bought this thing for $50 at Gamestop. It looks like they marked the price down since it came out. Oh yeah, they stopped shipping them, so if you want one grab it now. The joystick is nice, but the buttons aren't so hot. I think a modding is in order..

the lock keeps you from hitting the home and turbo buttons while you're playing.

If i remember correctly the lock on top was made in case you hit the home button while playing the game and it may exit you out. I use it as a safety precaution. The stick is almost identical to the one they made for Xbox360 and PS3 for the Street Fighter IV versions. It may be just me though but I think the Wii Tatsunoko controller feels lighter than the ones they made for Street Fighter IV versions.

I actually like being able to pick up a game and have a chance at beating someone, experienced or not. Makes it more interesting, at least for me. But hey, I'm a casual, and I suck at games anyway. Great stick by the way. (That didn't sound quite right...)

The Online is pretty good. You can put your name and customize your symbol and your given a rank by the way you play. And there is ranked battles and if you find someone you might want to play against again they ask you at the end of a match if you want to add the person to your rival list and from there you can send a match request to that person at any time.

it acts as the classic controller so it works awesome for the VC that's why they tossed the turbo on, and the wireless is bluetooth so lag really isn't an issue from the benchmarks people have run. But it would have been nice to have the cube hook up for gamecube fighters.
