MediaMarkt is a electronics shop (like big buy). people go mad when they get a notebook for 450€ instead of 800€ or a xbox360 with full accessories for 250€.
it might be interesting, that most of these people were from the "poor" parts of berlin, and this was for many people the only way to take part in the modern high tech media. (poor compared to german standarts)

That was some fucked up shit that night. Berlin is one big shithole. Total freakshow. The downward spiral of Berlin goes on and on. Sodom and Gomorrah...
All because an Electronics Retailer (Media Markt) had some cheap opening bargains. Maniacs. So stupid. You can guess what will happen if there is something like a real war in the future.

because lots of things were sold for half price. it is not the first shop of this chain that opens in berlin (there are at least a half dozen)
