@zombierobopirate Thanks for watching and leaving so many comments! Another game that has great "modern chiptunes" would be Rocket Riot. And I know there are a few good ones missing. I'm actually thinking of revisiting this list, and Rename it "Top X Classic VGTunes" to fix the technical error and make it consistent with my other list.

Chiptunes are songs that use instruments generated by the chips themselves. SNES is completely sample based.

Loved this game! But boy was it brutal on the more difficult settings. I remember my best friend and I popping it in for the first time and getting waxed in the first level. I remember saying, "We just got our asses kicked by a game called Pocky and Rocky." It became a catchphrase for many years.

i love this game, i hated the lab world that was a lab with a vampire at the end of the stage.

Favorite battle song is the one from the battle with the first boss and the chapel death one.
