focusing your mind on the IDEA of infinite consciousness. an idea is a mental concept and is as ephemeral as the brain tissue it occupies. you can't focus on infinite consciousness cos its not an object. poor old brain getting confused... is it massive, bigger than the universe? or more tiny than an atom? is it at the end of my nose, or just behind my eyes? god doesn't need you to focus on him. the sun doesn't need us to look at it to keep shining. now go for a pint!

Thanks for your thoughts checkoutreality. If sitting in the pub gets you closer to God then I'm happy for you. Focusing my mind on the idea of Intinite Consciousness (God) works for me, whether in meditation or collective Kiirtan (like in the video).

To be honest I don't like the tone of your comment. Clearly I have a different life-style to you and I would ask that you respect mine, even if you don't agree with it, and I will do the same in return.

For audio Kiirtan there is very little on the internet. Do a google search, I believe there are some around. I don't have any more Kiirtan video's of any worth I'm afraid. Good luck with your search ...
