for those who don't know why snake doesnt like sonic; both snake and sonic aren't nintendo, and kojima was invited to put snake into brawl, while sega paid nintendo to put sonic in, and since sonic is more popular, kojima felt that by putting sonic in it would kind of block out snake, so they put this codec in.

1) Sharp spines provide defense to snake attacks.

2) Hedgehogs have a high resistance to snake venom.

3) Hedgehogs eat them, but it's actually worse. They bite on their necks, smash their vertebrae, and eat them little by little. A slow, painful death.
