  • the deer does not care about the humans walking around them. they goes like "ok, like i care". but here in sweden we dont have any deer walking around like that. that's too bad cuz i really want to pet one..

  • @MollanPollzan it's because in Nara they've done this for a LONG time. the city wasn't always called Nara; they renamed it after the deer swarmed. deer in japanese is Nara, that's why it's not the name of the city!

  • @XionOfOrganization13 Actually the Japanese for deer is "shika", if fact these deer are "sika deer" derived from the Japanese word for deer. The city of Nara is around 1300 years old and it's name actually means "flattened" and mostly likely had its name changed from Heijo-kyo to Nara because it became the capital of Japan during the Nara period.
