The saddest part of Clannad for me was when it ended. I felt like I wanted more but I knew it was the perfect time for it to end. Hardly any animes ever make a large impact on my life but this is one of them. While watching the series I used to listen to the music every night before i go to sleep, now I just feel like there's an emptiness in myself whenever i listen to it...
i watched Clannad 1 n 2 n i loved it n i cud keep watching it all the time ^^ i especially love this song n wen my boyfriend n i have our own kid im gonna either hum or sing this song 2 it as soon as it arrives in this world <3

@N4strike No it's just not you this one makes me cry too. This show had some of the sadest moments I ever watched, but at the same time it made me laugh. I watched it subbed and when it got dubbed I watched it again. I love it so much

@xXxAelita777xXx They did. It's called Clannad Afterstory. And if you've already seen that, then you should know why they probably couldn't make another season. There was nothing else they could do to further the plot. I'm not tryin to sound mean here, I love Clannad. But I don't like it when things are streched out to far. Clannad is perfect as it is, and it always will be.

Just learned this song on the piano, and let me tell you it fells so good to play such a nice tune, this anime was very very sad and its one of my favorite. I wish I could play the opening to After story, but that's too advanced for me.

The reason for that is because it felt like a real life experience, as though I shared their memories, lived in their world, if I watched it again it would feel like I was going back in time. Maybe I'm just schizophrenic, but after the story ends in a deep anime such as this one, I'd like to think that the story still continues on. Rewatching it would just seem too odd....
@GamerBlueX Lol, i tried a second time too, but the emotions just didn't reach me that time. I have to say the first time will beat all the other times you watch it.
@dozerdeath24 Its probably because you knew the storyline already. So, even if you watch it for the second time, the feelings may be the same but it just didn't go with the flow. :D

To me , it's not like going back in time, more like having eidetic memory, which allows me to "live" your memory over and over again , and in a midst of this reminiscing I always seem to find something new, something I failed, or to notice, or maybe were simply unwilling to notice earlier on. At first I've thought it won't make me cry, took me 9 episodes to understand how naive I were.
@GamerBlueX same here, but what tugged at my heart most was the loss in this anime. i can be pretty cold when it comes to alot of things, but when it comes to loss, ( something that hurt me alot in my young life ) i cant help but nearly shed a tear. seeing episode 16, and then what happens later. . . that was really sad to me because i could sympathize. i think that anyone can relate to SOMETHING in this anime and that is why it is so good.
@goldenrod666 yeah im known as the emotionless kid at my school but cried when somebody died or they remembered them since i had to go to 4 funerals before i got into high school

I feel that I couldn't Clannad more than once.
The reason for that is because it felt like a real life experience, as though I shared their memories, lived in their world, if I watched it again it would feel like I was going back in time.
