  • BTW,

    Carpet can and often IS applied over concrete floors without any glue. Nailing strips are fastened around the perimeter of room. You will wish to use carpet pad with this system, no doubt about that.

    Slab on grade is almost universal in Florida, and that is the way it is normally done.
