damn that was an awesome storm,2 plus feet of snow, then an ass load of rain, i found that driving ion the ice was way easier then driving in that slush crap.
The yakima river is starting to go down a little bit finally. I took a drive to Ellensburg & Cle Elum yesterday through the yakima canyon and part of the bank had collapsed underneth the railroad tracks! I'll upload some footage later today.
weather has been weird this year in many parts of the country. At least when it snows here it stays and goes away slowly.. currently 4 below and we shouldn't see above 30 for another 2-3 months or more. usually 15 below or colder in the morning.
I live 1/2 a mile up towards the falls. Drove through there in my 4x4 right as the cops were putting up the road block.

yeah, the slush I would compare to driving in sand

I lucked out, We flooded out last year, but it missed us this year. Looks fun to try to cross the hole. probably why the sheriff was flying around.

It'a been a couple of interesting weeks, first a blizzard with 2 ft. of snow plus temps in the teens over a week and now flooding.
