• you're such a cutie pie. you know who you remind me of? that actor who plays sir conan doyle in shanghai knights.

  • i think anyone who vlogs on youtube shares the same kind of weird, no worries

  • please could you pass on the way to die to this irritating brain dead tosser in this video

    ASAP please

  • There are thousands of ways people die regarding alcohol abuse! I can name diseases A-Z regarding alcohol!

  • Yeah I think he would like to reccomend a sweeping ban but knows that an age one is just more likely to be accepted and not slandered, I think that his aim would be to introduce this and then use it as a lever to introduce a sweeping ban. After this then he can prove that there have been improvements.

  • IS THAT YOUR REAL HAIR?

  • hit a nerve there alki?

  • 'Quite frankly anybody who does drink & drive, is a fool.'

    Well Said lmao x

  • I think the drinking age should be changed to 10 and everyone should be made to ride around on bicycles instead. Like in France =]

And I'd like to see a drunk person trying to cycle aswell xD

  • Love the wall

  • FOOL!

  • yay your weirdness!

  • Following this logic, boys should be banned from driving altogether.

  • 1. tell that to my sister who has drunk and driven and who shouts at other motorists every 5-10 minutes

and tell that to your ancestor women and women all round the world who get treated like angels are forgiven for any mistakes who are looked upon as victims when they kill someone who can solve any financial crisis by selling thereself to the women worshippers they are PATHETIC.

dont play your sexism here fool 90% of people are pathetic but at least the men patheticness isnt encouraged

  • and at least they suffered in life from childhood to school (your not male you wouldnt know as all women would have killed theirself leading the life of the average man) (there weak willed)

so when men get pathetic and brutal at least they have reason to do so your kind doesnt but your forgiven more than them all the same.

  • Rad

  • You may be weird, but you're also very awesome :)

  • Since When Did You Start Wearing A Hairband.

The Voice's Are Amazing, But You Always Make The Men Sound Like Constipated Old Women.

    :D

    5 Stars.

  • i found the end of this video interusting

  • Arm flailing FTW.

Cept that now people are looking at me laughing... I hate internet cafes...

  • they discriminate against younger people because they can't vote

  • of course the gov will discriminate against younger drivers because they are "irresponsible" and "more likely to make bad descisions"

yes its unfair for the gov to sterotype young adults like this, but can you really blame them for making that foolish assumption? they have reason to believe our entire generation is good for nothing because they do not acknowledge the fact that there actually are thoughtful, intelligent and productive young members of society.

  • You make a good point!

  • at least you can freaking drink...here in the US we have to wait for 21 to drink alcohol.

  • Indeed... but I def. can wait. When I turn 21, I can be like, "ha! I am legal to drink now... but I do not want to. So... ha!"

Obv. I don't care as I do not drink. ^-^

  • wooooohoooo now I feel really informed...thanks for that...:P

  • I'm going to take a wild guess and say that it's because it is what it interests him and what he wants to share...

    I don't know...I might be wrong. :-)

  • Definitely agreed. Though as loser078 pointed out, you are allowed a certain alcohol level after receiving your final license, which is, to a certain extent, ageism. However, this graduated licensing system applies to those of all ages, so maybe it isn't as bad.

  • *grins insanely*

    Your arm flailing was wonderful!

    I loved it!

    <33

  • Haha that was great. Your arm flailing is/was beautiful. And I should know cause my arms have a mind of their own too.

    :D

  • actually, in Canada, we have "Graduated Licensing" where you get your license (and the privileges that come along) in steps. Until you get your full license, you are not legal to drive with a blood alcohol level above 0.

It's not set to age, it's set to driving experience, which I think makes total sense.

  • LOL you are a cute/weird guy with a cute accent hehe

well i agree with you, there shouldn´t be discriminating younger people, it should be the same since it doesn´t matter how old you are, if you drink and drive you are dangerous to everyone near.

  • Jazza I love all your informational videos.

  • Thanks Jazza for the classic vid!

  • Woohoo arm flailing :)

Thanks for making me smile, and informing me on things going on.

  • i subscribed to you before i watched your videos hahahaha i love your accent :)

  • Jazza , I thought exactly the same as you did when I read about the zero tolerance thing for younger people. Lets have a blanket zero tolerance for everyone. Even having one drink can impair some peoples perception.

    Penny Your YTmum. x

  • the weirdness is what makes you, you and therefore makes us love you, jazza! ;)

  • I love your videos. You make them interesting. The arm flaping at the end was hilarious and that's why I love your weirdness.

  • wohoo for canada and jazza!.. u r wierd jazza, but i think we all love it anyways.. and thanks for the arm-flailing.. it makes me happy =)

  • yes you are weird but thats why i love showing your videos

  • by the time i watch that beautiful theatrical ending i completerly forgot what you was on about....

so you just carry on working it with the arms...

  • ha ha!#yes ma'am

    ;)

  • I don't like to drink and drive, but sometimes you have to get your kids to school. :)

  • LMAO!!

  • woot woot for Canada!! But seriously, England should introduce a 0 tolerance for everyone, not merely young adults, as alcoholism is not a problem with only younger people. To pass a law thats restricts a certain age group is discrimination which is illegal, or at least here in Canada it is.

p.s- loved how you read out Sir Liams quote in a muppet-esque voice Jazza

    Sammi

  • Took the words out of my mouth :P

I completely agree though! It's great they're willing to put this into effect to save lives, but it's sad to say the least that they have to discriminate towards younger citizens.

  • I'm taking driver's ed right now and I was just reading in my Texas Driver's Handbook about this sort of thing. Apparently in Texas, any alcohol in a minor results in fines, suspension of license, and community service. And, of course, the punishment is worse if driving. But for older folks, there is a alcohol limit or something. I'll probably be able to comment more about whether this law works after I take lessons 6, 7, and 8 in driver's ed on alcohol awareness.

  • you drink driving fools! all of you!

the hand moving about motions really added that extra 'jazza touch' to the video.

and this law would be completely ridiculous, what makes them think that someone who is 23 would have less of a chance of crashing after drinking?

    makes no sense.

  • ye Canada

    !

  • ♥

  • i am sorry you are wrong my freind more 17 to 22 take the chance with drink driving it's a fact when we wer kids we did it becuse we had nothing to lose at the time.now we driving jobs and we would jobs etc

  • go canada. whoot.

  • Yes, you are. And we love you for it. :)

  • Haha.

"God i'm weird" that's what i say everyday (well more than once a day)

I agree with you there. actually i don't think i've ever disagreed with you :)

Good to see your old stuff back :D

    x

  • To be honest, I'm sick of people having a go at younger drivers. I'm 17 and passed my test earlier this year, I drive safely and am sick of being tarred with the same brush as the boy racers. People seem to think that all young male drivers are chavs who will wrap their Corsa round a tree but this simply isn't the case.

  • Wait they aren't? The Daily Mail keeeps lying to me. Yesterday I met an immigrant and he didn't steal my job.

  • Is really strange that they focus in such a small gap, because they are telling you if you drink and drive and you are 21 is not as bad as if you drink and drive when you are 20. How about cero tolerance for anyone that drink and drives, wich im guessing should be really the point.

  • Lmao "god im weird"

    Great video as always!

  • JAZZA IS BACK <3

i love your hairband.. and also, this video is gooooood :) im going to say what's been said millions of times, and that's that this is yet again a fantastic point.

btw sophie told me to tell you Victoria Station at 12, and then back to hers for the night :)

  • In the Netherlands it's the other way around. You are allowed to drink from 16 years of age. But your not allowed to drive 'till your 18, and than you'll still need, on average, in between 6 months-1 year before you actually manage to pass your test.

And than still you can have less alcohol than people who've had their driving license for 5 years (?).

I wouldn't know, I don't drink at all. Which seems to make me the designated driver every single time we go out...

  • I love the way this is a pretty serious issue, and you put on that voice. Lol. And that arm spaz was fabulous. I love you Jazza, for being weird and wonderful. x

  • arm flailing ftw/

  • :D *huge geeky grin* I agree, that is absolutely ridiculous. It makes much more sense to include ALL age groups in the proposal. you're so awesome.

  • Weirdness is a point of view. Drinking and driving is not.

  • good to see the old vlogs back :)

  • The arm flailing ADDS to the video i anything!

I totally agree with what you're saying. It's seems like the government are all wearing horse blinkers at the moment and are blaming our age group for bloody well everything. And have you heard anything about the gov putting the driving age up to 18? And the drinking age to 21? I have heard rumours, Jazza.

P.S, you make british politics SEXY!

  • this video was already amazing... then you waved your arms... and I climaxed.

    <3

  • lol yes you are weird, but arent we all? we wouldnt want you any other way Jazza. I agree that if a ban is imposed, which i think it should be, it should be a sweeping ban than covers all drivers not just the younger ones.

    beautiful arm flailing

  • ZERO TOLARANCE ON DRINKING AND DRIVING. It really pisses me off when the goverment are such twats. I agree with you Jazza there Fools!

  • That's some quality flailing there Jazza ;)

  • I really hate drink driving - I won't even drive after a few sips of something just in case - and zero tolerance across the board would be the way to go.

    Your weirdness is awesome.

  • I know an old guy who drink drives - how does he get away with it? Well while he is off drink driving the police are busy pulling over young people... he finds this hilarious. He actually brags about it.

Of course there are a lot of idiot drivers who are young - they usually own Golfs and have no taste in music - but on the whole young people better educated about driving safety. Many older people did not go through the same tests etc we did.

  • interesting stuff.. I reckon it should be zero tolerance for all ages, though perhaps this might be a stepping stone towards this? I'm guessing there would be a bit of a fuss made if they were to suggest making it zero tolerance across the board right away..

Perhaps part of the reasoning is that younger drivers are likely to be effected by smaller doses of alcohol, or that they generally have more accidents.. I dunno :/

  • i deal with car crashes everyday with my job and that age group crash more often because of speed where older from around 25 - 60 are more likely to be drunk. but thats just what i've noticed

  • "God I'm weird" voice over a black screen was a nice touch. Good for a smile, anyway.

The serious part is, well, serious. Intentional discrimination needs to be well thought out, and not simply rationalized. If based on solid data, the special treatment of younger drivers may be justifiable, but the matter is seldom discussed dispassionately. It's too easy a subject for politicians to posture about.

  • Totally f'ing seconded.

  • I think you be awesome too.

  • your impression of sir Ian was great Another great vlog

  • Yay! Good vlog.

  • But doesn't it make sense that it would be harder on drunk driveing under drinking age teenagers, because it's a double offense? drunk driving, and underage alchohol consumption? that doesn't seem to be that unreasonable.

  • yay canada :D

  • Even better than the arm flailing: the "God I'm weird" at the end to a black screen. Glad to have you back on the world wide web ;)

  • I guess it's understandable to START the ban with teens because we are less experienced on the road and haven't developed the same automatic defense reflexes yet but they should expand it to eventually include everyone. By the way what is the drinking age limit in the UK?

  • lol thanks for the arm flailing :)

maybe donaldson meant for zero tolerance on new drivers, but decided that itd be easier to regulate if it specified young people instead

  • In Australia it's already law - zero tolerance for any provisional driver (newly licensed) no matter what the age. But most provisional drivers are teenagers

  • I totally agree. Why only teenagers? Adults are involved in car accidents as well.

And this rule exists in Brazil since a few weeks ago (maybe just one) and the results are quite good. The amount of deaths in car accidents is more than 50% lower this weekend, comparing with last weekend :)

  • lol "God i'm weird"

  • Jazza, you're so great!

this video reminds me of a girl in my class who, today, kept bringing up how she really wishes the drinking age was 18 like it used to be in the US and i kind of agree but at the same time i know that many teens will abuse that right which can lead to dreadful mishaps

    and...

i concur, drunk drivers are idiots.

  • They did what you suggested here in Brazil, nobody is allowed to drink any amount of alcohol and drive, otherwise you will get a fine, your call will be confiscated, and you will lose your driver's license for a year. And you can even go to prison actually. It's having some good results, of course, couldn't make things worse :P But I think it's a little harsh, if they would just actually control it, with a small but not definitive 0 alcohol ammount, I believe the results would be similar.

  • I feel like this ban might have singled out teens because we are less likely to retaliate. If the ban were placed on everyone adults might become upset and try to have it lifted but teens are an eaisy(er) target because we are (maby) less likely to retaliate. I also feel this proposal is seeping in age discriminating.

Realy interesting vid jazza, glad to see you back back.

    zoe

  • Instead of 'drunk driving' here in Canada (and possiably elsewhere) we refer to this as Driving While Intoxicated or Driving While Under The Influence of Alcohol. This is, I believe, because some people (a group including teenagers) will believe they aren't drunk and can drive if they haven't had "that much to drink" when in fact there will be more then enough alcohol in their system to alter their control over their actions.

Not that anyone cares about this difference of words...

  • well it depends on the severity of the consequence for "zero tolerance" is, but I've always thought there was some sort of law against drunk driving for all ages everywhere. I mean I know this sounds idiotic but how would a "zero tolerance" policy make a difference in whether drivers drink? I don't think it would prevent those from driving.

  • i agree, anyone who drinks and drives is a total moron. it's one thing to put yourself at risk, but to put other motorists and pedestrians in danger? stupid stupid stupid.

plus, same with me for the ontario comments. too great :)

  • Your pronunciation of Ontario is so cute. Man, I just want to pinch your cheeks sometimes.

  • AHAHHA!

    LOVE the Arm Flailing, 'Jazza'.

    Just kidding =)

    Jazza is my favorite subscriber.

  • YAY FOR ARM FLAILING!

  • god i'm weird

    lmao

  • Haha, awhh, the way you say "Ontario" makes me happy.

And I wholeheartedly disagree with only putting the zero tolerance ban on that (very small) age group. Drunk driving is drunk driving; we should all be treated equally and have to deal with the same consequences regardless of age.

  • shit happens

  • You're completely right, a zero tolerance ban, while will probably outrage many people, really should be sweeping and not case specific. Why allow older motorists to drink drive end endanger their (and other peoples' lives)?

And what's this, two Jazza videos in two days? My my, you're spoiling us!

  • Well said Jazza

  • Yay! Arm Flailing.

  • that ending made my day. =]

  • "is a fool!"

  • Surely more education about the matter would be just as effective? As you said, people who drink and drive you're a fool. If you can't tell that drinking and driving is going to increase your chances of crashing, you shouldn't be allowed on the roads.

The law should include everyone. Mostly because I can see people celebrating that they can drive after having a drink when they're over the limit and causing more crashes.

Urgh..That was rambly, ignore it is it doesn't make sense.

  • That was meant to say 'people who drink and drive are fools.'

I was in no way implying you're a fool.

  • drink drivers. those crazy fools!

i agree with what you're saying. if they're gonna introduce it for younger people why not just introduce it for everyone. ageist!

  • that is total age discrimination!

  • Aww, you sound so sweet when you say "Ontario" =D. Yeah, a high alcohol reading shouldn't be allowed for any age group...that was easy.

  • From the Times Online:

"Drivers aged 17-19 have 24 drink-drive injury accidents per 100 million miles. For 20 to 24-year-olds the rate is 16, for 25-29-year-olds 9 and for all ages of driver 5"

So I think the idea proposed by Donaldson is fair enough.

Welcome back, btw. I missed this format of vlogging :)

  • I agree that it does seem like age discrimination, because anyone can get in an accident while drunk driving. However, I've heard once that younger people can become drunk much easier than older people because teenagers' brains aren't fully developed or something. So I'm on the fence with this one.

    Loved the ending! :D

  • I'm kinda torn on this one tbh, I mean younger people are more likely to crash due to alcohol on average, but some older people are no better, so zero tolerance for all sounds good... but then you could get done driving into work the next day or something stupid like that.

    I dunno.

    I like you.

    =)

  • you have to flail like you mean it, damn it

  • I agree

    that flail seemed too forced...

  • do wat the US does and tie the drinkingg age to highway funding and then make the drinking age the highest in the world. 21.

  • lets just stop drinking all together!!!!

    hahahahahahahahha

  • Yeah, Pretty much anyone that would ingest poison and then load their inebriated asses behind the wheel of a mass of quickly moving metal deserves no pity from me, regardless of their age.

  • this proposal is ridiculous. I agree, there should be zero tolerance for drink driving for everyone as alcohol affects everyone, not just the young.

Maybe sir whatshisface just wanted to carry on being able to drive after a little tipple...lol

  • I was a bit frightened that I was going to say "I dissagree" because I thought you were going to say you disagree with the drink driving tolerance.

But 'm so glad I was wrong. I agree completely. Logically, if you enforce this ONLY to the younger drivers, then the older drivers will have a higher crash rate.

Save yourselves the trouble and include everyone on this because you're just going to end up including them anyway.

Yay! Arm flailing! What is Jazza going to flail next?

  • What's the legal drinking age in England?

  • It's 18 in the whole of the UK.

    .x.

  • Thanks for replying

  • Preposterous.

    /Happyface

  • drinking is bad for you

  • man. i love me some arm flailing.

  • I agree, good point :)

  • i agree 100%...sure, teens drink and drive more, but still TONS of others do it as well. why not just make the law help everyone instead of targeting ppl?

  • i completely agree, it's preposterous that they only single out the younger age category. as if an older drunk driver is much better, they should know better and get the same convictions. drunk driving is still drunk driving no matter what your age is.

  • Zero (I find it interesting that you didn't say Zed) tolerance is what is says. If you take a cold medication that contains alcohol and are then stopped then you will be guilty of driving under the influence. Ability is tempered by age and weight. Do you want to live in a Zero Tolerance society? I don't.

  • Zed is the name for the letter 'z', not zero.

  • Ah. My bad. I took it to mean the same as nill or no in addition to Z. Stupid Yank.

  • you actually teach me stuff.

    thats important.

    thankyou

  • I agree with you.

And you make me smile. :)

  • haha! Arm flailing!! Yeah, I agree..dont think anyone driving should touch a drop!

  • YES! The arm flailing has made a comeback!

  • Yay for Ontario!

  • When I was a kid, my dad used to drive while drinking/drunk with me, my sister, and my mom in the car. Thankfully, we never got into any accident. Looking back at it today, I can't believe he could have ever done something so stupid and risky.

  • ABSOLUTELY Jazza, All age groups ftw.

    Age discrimination makes me angry.

Oh, and HI!!! How are you? *hugs*

  • I am fine

    have missed talking to you

*hugs back and won't let go*

  • But we love you because your weird. Nice arm flailing.

But yes. Drinking and driving is lame. I dont understand why people do that when they realize they can end up endangering peoples lives.

  • I agree with you. My friend says her dad sometimes drives her and her family home (her mom cant drive and neither can she) after he has been drinking and I think it's horrible that he does that. He could be responsible for the death of his whole family :/ He doesn't drive them home drunk but it's still dangerous.

  • my dad does that all the time ... meh

  • I don't understand why any parent would risk the lives of his family members like that..

  • why do you wear a head band?

  • Good points.

It is true that we are more likely to crash while driving, but everyone who drives under the influence has a higher chance of being in an accident. Not just teenagers. I can see why you have mixed views about the proposal, it's just silly.

And yes Jazza you are weird :) But it's a good thing.

  • I agree, its age discrimiation and a universal 0% blood alcohol level would be o much better than what we have now of people just sort of guessing or assming they're ok to drive.

yay for jazza arm flailing, was most enjoyable, your stuffs always enjoyable though, with or without the flailling.

  • aww

    thankoo

such a sweet thing to say

with or without the arm flailing

  • Loved your pronounciation of "Ontario", you say it with a long A, or maybe it's just your accent? Anyways, it was really cute!

    Hugs from Canada!

  • hugs from england

    and yeah

probs this damn accent of mine

    :P

  • yay hugs :-)

  • Totally agree.

    && yayyy arm waving :] lol :p

    x

  • 'IS A FOOL!'

    well said

  • is there no blood alcohol limit in england?

i know in pennsylvania in the us it's .08

  • yeah

    ours is the same

they are only thinking about puting thye 0% thing through

    it hasn't happened yet

  • you're most deffinately not weird, just different. and i enjoyed the arm flailing. and just because we're younger.. doesn't mean we're the source of the problem.

  • I completely agree with your points!!! I loved the last part!!!

  • yay arm waving......don't worry we are all weird :)

  • I completley agree with you!

    <3

  • i did a squeal when i saw this in my subs box

    yayayayayay jazza!

i think that they should put the policy in affect for all ages, just because we're young doesn't mean we're more prone to crashes.

btdubs, what was that thing coming out of your shirt at the end?

  • well to be fair... we ARE more likely to crash cuz were young, but it doesn't mean we are the only causers of the problem.

and that it the wire that has the switch on it that turns me off

    :P

  • Arm flailing :D yay xD and nice video with good points =]

  • First maybe?

I pretty much agree with yhoo Jazza, especially the age discrimination...

    THE FOOLS!

    <3 =]

  • yes first

    congrats

    :P
