Disneyland's Fantasmic! Update 2009

I hope I get to see the new show. I personally hated the dragon part before these 2009 changes. Oh look.. Disney only had enough money to make a head then use ribbons for the rest of the body XD. It really took away the live of the show. hope to see this show soon after hearing these facts

Well I'm not sure when it came out, but as of Sunday, ‎January ‎03, ‎2010 (last time I saw the show) the dragon is in the show. You most likely won't see it till summer.

I was told by a cast member in NOS, that the show won't be back till summer, after they complete all of the maintenance that needs to be done, and refill the river. I got some great video/pictures of ROA empty.

It was supposed to be tested last night at the 11:30 show, but was not in.

if you didn't see flotsom and jetsom it was like one of few nights it hasn't shown cuz they have been out since opening preview night - as for the dragon, don't hold your breath

My insiders are telling me the Dragon will not be in until December.

Disney is still saying that the new dragon will debut this summer, but there is almost no chance that will happen. Instead Disney is trying to aim for a goal of debuting the dragon in September or early October. Not December. Wherever you are getting your information, it is wrong.

My information is coming form an Entertainment Supervisor who has been with the show since the beginning. He sent me this, this morning:

"I asked one of the stage managers about the return of the dragon, and he said "I dunno. Two weeks?" As he said this, another stage manager walked by, and said, "October?"

so there you go."

You just seem to be getting your information from DIsney press releases...

Saw Disneyland Fantasmic Sat. July 18th and Sun. july 19th. No flotsom or jetsom. And, most disappointingly, still NO dragon.

There was no Ursulla float at all...

The crocodile does not jump up out of the water at all. It's a boat and floats along.

And teh dragon fell onitself and smashed the mechanisims. They have no idea when it will be back

I like the WDW one, but it needs some tweaks. Sometimes it just looks like one scene doesn't fit with another and it's all over the place. But it's still great![= Bummer about the dragon though (disneyland) I might be going in august so i will probably see it! :D i'm happy[= lol okay im done.

they lied about the crocodile it doesnt jump up to get hook..... they shuld have made it on the castle better cause then it would look better when sorcer mickey appears on the top tower of the castle to shoot the fire works :)

Bad news! Apparently, Disneyland is having problems with the new dragon so it didn't debut last night as planned. Now they're saying that it will debut later in the summer. Possibly mid-July. Bummer huh? But the Flotsam, Jetsam, and Tic Toc Croc look great. If they really wanted to "re-imagine" the show, they could have added more villains into the mix and they could have replaced the Peter Pan segment with a Pirates Of The Caribbean segment to make up for firing all the Jack Sparrow actors.
