@TheCommercialG Also don't have more than 50% notoriety, if you do it will make the officials spawn more, which harms the chances of the collector spawning imo.

I hung around in the arch while trying to find other places for the collector to spawn, it wasn't to long after a deposit either, then i decided to run into the archway again and he spawned. Don't give up like I was about to.

my advice is don't give up this works... for me it was the 5th run around the center thing by the bank just keep doin it it will pop.

@CommentzForFun The position shown in the video is one of the possible spawning points; sometimes he appears right there, while other times you may need to wait and try several times before he appears. Eventually, you'll come across him.

Thanks, this helped me a lot. Only a thing... The templar courier appeared when i had a deposit bank. Only 2-3 minutes after the deposit bank. Then i ran around this pile of wood and then the bastard appeared... I was so angry that i tackled him (taking my monei), i killed him and i brought his corpse into water... HATE!

worked - ran up and down for 15-20 mins and the second a deposit was made the icon was on my radar. I grapped him and got the ach. then threw at the wall walked away, turned around and beat the shit out of him.... aaaah

Why does this game hate me? I did this for about 15 minutes, before a bank deposit and after, and there is a no show. What am I doing wrong?

@drummerkid909 I did it for an extra 5-10 minutes, and ran really far up the straight that goes up the arsenal (:3) and he showed up when I was running really far up the arsenal. So to anyone thinking it isn't working, it just takes a really long time. Thank you so much. I'm one of platnium :D

Worked perfectly, first run through the gate after bank deposit. Only problem is, apparently the achievement doesn't work if your assassins kill him..

OK guys, I might have pinned down a location for the tax collector. Make sure to also hide so as not to scare the collector before I could see him. SPOT : Haggia Sophia tunnel entrance. TIME : Bank deposit trigger. Hide in the hay stack and he should appear within minutes. - Make sure to hide

- Pay close attention to the radar, since he comes from a random direction.

- If you fail and he dies, exit the animus and come back in, just to make sure he doesnt keep any "dead" status. Remember HIDE!

I was doing your video but I ended up going off to the west side of the Arsenal and one showed up... so it seems like hanging around the Arsenal somehow helps. Either way, I'm glad that's done and over with.

the way it worked for me is by first getting my templar awareness to the max and then just run through the gate to FINALLY make the bastard spawn, so now I finally got all the singleplayer achievements

ok i know u guys say it has nothing to do with a deposit. soo i waited at the arch of the arsenal for like 20 mins camera faceing away from bank and when i moved it ade a deoposit and boom the bastard was rigth behind me

@Kodidokun88 Nobody says that when a deposit is made he can't appear. There are evidences (the video is one) that he can appear also not when a deposit is made.

@SharinganRebirth A lot of people have thought that, but it has been confirmed that it doesn't have anything to do with the money deposit. It might have something to do with the Banks (that's why I kept their icons while recording), but I've also seen them without Banks around, so...it'd make sense for us all, but not for Ubisoft.

Not 100% sure of spawning him in the Arsenal of course, but within half an hour of tries you will find him. Just wait inside the Arsenal, idle for 5 mins, then try.

@xbox360crazed Nope, he can spawn pretty much anywhere, randomly. This is just one of the possible locations, and probably the easiest to refer to, and one of the most common which seem to work for most of the players. It may take some minutes, but this is a rather safe spot, provided you never come across this guy randomly somewhere else.
