Cautionary tale: I had all the typical 'I can manage this on my own' symptoms and episodic pain. The issued turned out to be a tumor on the inside wall of my gallbladder. At first the doctor was tripped up because no gallstones were present. Still suspicious, he ordered an MRI. No approach on my own was going to diagnose and resolve that situation.

When nutritionist is not a legally protected term and as such needs no qualification in order for you to call yourself one.
I'm just looking to find out if the situation has changed and if it is now a legally protected term then fair enough. However it is not, does this not potentially undermine your message?
Had my gall bladder out 15 years ago and from time to time have noticed similar attacks that could have been blamed on stones then. Certain foods exacerbate a gut made sensitive by a constant flow of bile too. My advice through experience is to keep a food diary and find out what does and doesn't work for you. Possible good-candied ginger after a meal or Trader Joe's sells a cheap papaya enzyme that works sometimes. With Doc's help, rule out IBS or other causes.
This was good info, but I've already had my gallbladder removed (emergency surgery, no way to avoid it,; I was haveing attacks that lasted 14 hours, and I couldn't function). Now that I don't have one, there are certain foods that I can't eat at all, and others that i have to limit, or I get sick. Is there something I should be doing?
I to have had my gallbladder removed because of sever pain. After it was removed I had constant sever diarrhea that put me in even more sever pain and weakness, as I could no longer eat anything. My chiropractor had suggested that I take large doses of pro-biotics, the good bacteria in yogurt. You can get it in capsules to.
AND I did some research and found an Enzyme product that is amazing for digesting foods. I don't mean to plug a certain brand but I have tried many different ones. The Ultra-Zyme by Nature's Plus is one that has worked the best and is complete. It has all those "ase" the vid talks bout.
amylase, protease, lipase, glutamine acide hci, acidophilus, ox bile, bromelain, pepsin, papain, malt diastase, cellulase, lactase. It has really restored me. My husband can even eat eggs now to. It works great
You can of course experiment with other less expensive ezyme supplement products. The ultra-Zyme can be kind of expensive. You have to take the supplement every time your going to eat something. It greatly improved my ability to eat. I have no more pain.
American medicine does not recognize bile problems as much as in Europe. I have a condition where my gallbladder is positioned in a way that it is bent, so bile does not flow properly. Last summer I had my bile removed by having a big straw inserted deep into my throat - then into my stomach - to remove the bile. There was a lot, my mother had the same thing done, and she had twice as less than me, and I was only 20 then. I don't know if it really helped - I prob won't do it again.
sounds like it might make sense to eat food in a certain order, or with a time delay, for that cck and hormone stage to be released and prep the bile into the intestines.
So bile must be green. That must be why I threw up something green after being horribly horribly sick several times one night. I got ahold of some bad agave nectar. No one ever told me that stuff needs to be refrigerated! Anyway I was so sick that what came up last was green. It was kind of scary since i couldn't think of anything that I had eaten that was green. These days I keep my agave nectar in the refrigerator. I suggest everyone do the same.

Nutritionist vs Dietitian
I'm just wondering how you can be a:
"certified clinical Nutritionist"
When nutritionist is not a legally protected term and as such needs no qualification in order for you to call yourself one.

found out through a catscan that I have a stone in my gall bladder. Now what ?
serrano59 2 years ago
Medication to dissolve it or surgery to remove it. Look up gallstone on wikipedia.
Discuss treatment options with your doctor.

Google "Hulda Clark" cleanse.
This protocol WILL remove not only
Gall stones, it will also do the kidney
and liver stones.
I know numerous family members currently
