hey man you forgot 1 important thing when you install in local drive (c) you have to copy or cut out folder editor and then copy it in crysis directory because editor have his own files and guys if the errror shows up then you didnt copied the editor folder you just have to copy it or cut it out and paste in directory and thats all then editor will run perfectly :) and yeah nice video by the way thanks for solution.

@calvinchandler1 Well this tutorial was meant to help it install and run successfully, but if it says you need "permission" you need to run as administer.

Right click the Editor icon and go to Run as Administer.

Hey mine says could not access SHALlocator.dll (check working dir, currently: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steammaps\com­mon\crysis\Bin64). Now I have don some research and someone said that it is because I dont have the files from the original crysis. Although I do have the original crysis and nothing is working. @Pierre8907 If you don't see it in the panel, right click and go down to properties, then at the top are tabs, click the one that says shortcut. Then go down to advanced, Check the box to run as admin(or credentials for windows XP)

this may clear it up for windows 7 users... put disk in. hit my computer and on the left side where is says things like favourites and desktop and computer go down to drive E.... right click then click expand and it will be in there.... hope it helps!!!!

Your option allows the user to paste the sandbox editor into the correct location, however it causes Sandbox 2 to constantly crash upon export to engine or save.

What you need to do is access the disabled Admin log in.

Windows start search type in: lusrmgr.msc

then Users>Admin>Properties>de select disable.

Log out, log into admin and install. Note it is recommended that you protect this account with a password or preferrably disable it after use so no one can tamper with it..

I didnt wanted a tutorial how to install it on Widnows seven. + that I was installed the software as "administrator" and it didnt work.

But i've found a solution (many ppl got this problem).

Go to the sandbox2 main folder. Right click on it and choose "security" change the options there so everyone has the right to use/change all the software of those files etc.
