It's funny how all the Schumacher fanboys and bandwaggoneers have gone silent these last few weeks. What's wrong?? Didn't exactly go as you had hoped?
And Alonso got 1 win inherited after Vettel's car had a malfuntion with a few laps to go in Bahrain. 18 laps led so far all season. Quality stuff no doubt.
look at rosberg no wins in a car as gud as alonso's (see wshat i did there? gud) yes i like rosberg but hes not as good as ur sayin.
i just want hammy out, all of his wins r luck this season in 2nd best car, turkey webber didnt leave enough room 4 vettel and in canada if he didnt stop on track in quali he wouldnt of have pole and alonso lost due to kovalainen and HRT blocking,

This comment has received too many negative votesshow
like i ppredicted 3 weeks ago ONE-TWO VICTORY FOR FERARRI....HEHEHHEHE....where is Button,or Hamolton...oh yes they are in the dust behind Alonso and Massa!!!AHAHAHAHA mclaren sucks
for your information, Red Bull are the fastest team on the grid as shown in qualyfying and the race. If it wasn't for that exhaust problem with vettel, then he would have won. I do like Ferrari but im just speaking facts and as for Mclaren, i think they will be very strong through out the season. Red Bull are very fast
and what are you saying now?? After 7 races Red Bull have won 3 times and McLaren 3 times and anybody can see it's between these two teams now. Where was your Ferrari in Turkey? Fighting with the Renaults a long way back.
McLaren is currently leading the constructors' championship but Red Bull is still the fastest car. 7 races, 7 poles.
Where's your Ferrari?? Still laughing now?? After Alonso inherited Vettel's win in the first race?
@shematronik Wow I bet you feel stupid now, McLaren leading the constructor's championship and Hamilton and Button being the 2 leading drivers. Three 1-2 McLaren finishes in eight races and two in a row. Not exactly in Ferarri's dust are they?
@aieljose Well I don't. I never claimed Ferrari or anyone else to be in anyone's dust, I merely responded to someone who claimed McLaren to be being slaughtered by Ferrari, at a time when Ferrari were being slaughtered by McLaren and Red Bull, and pointed out how horrifically wrong he was and still is.
McLaren still lead Ferrari in the constructors champsionship, so my comment is still technically valid, although Ferrari have somehow pulled out a much faster car than McLaren since Hockenheim.
Nico Rosberg is half FINN and he beats Schumacher.
Also the Mercedes car is both built and designed in Brackley,England. Not Germany.
Even the so called "Mercedes" engines are formerly Ilmor, and built and designed in Brixworth.
Right now even Nico Rosberg is breaking Schumacher's ass. He needs to defeat him first until we can talk about beating Hamilton, Alonso and Button and Vettel and Webber and Massa and Kubica and Petrov and Sutil and Heidfeld moving up to replace him if this continues
To everybody who say that Kimi sucks, remember 1 thing, from 2003 to 2009 Kimi Raikkonen drove most fastest laps from all drivers in F1, Kimi is just too lazy thats why he isnt so good as Schumacher.
Hi everyone, for all of the formula 1 fans out there i need some advice. I am playing F1 fantasy league and tend to take it a bit seriously and I have came up with two teams to enter but can only enter one of them. The teams are:
TEAM 1- Alonso, Hamilton, Rosberg, Barechellio, Sutil and Trulli
TEAM 2- Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Rosberg, Barechellio and Trulli
Which team do you think will earn me more points and which team do you think is strongest ? I need help deciding, thanks
@McLarenMercedes Lets not forget the crucial factors to Nico's sucess, be in NO doubt, im NOT a fan of Michael, but he always had his car set up perfectly to suit his driving style. Since there's no more in season testing he cant get it to handle as he wants, & during the pre season testing the teams could only run 1 car so he couldn't get that set up for him.
@McLarenMercedes i like rosberg alot and predicted he would be the faster of the pair before the season, however i cant help but notice you are bagging someone elses english even though your comments are full of grammatical errors. Quote "first you learn English." that sentence is telling someone to learn English yet the sentence itself is grammatically incorrect. Another one is "Why did you suddenly went silent dipshit??" this is also grammatically incorrect.

well it is because in most countries around the world, people see number 13 as unlucky as you may know. And Formula 1 drivers do not want to have number 13 on their car as it's unlucky and it will be playing on their minds all season. Also, some drivers would use that as an excuse or way out if they are doing badly
lol u ppl are betting on drivers even though the season hasn't started yet wait for the 1st race to start then start counting your chickens just yet. redbull and maclaren look strong though they been trading toptimes in jereZ
Kimi said that he enjoys rallying more and to be honest with you I'm glad he's gone, never really liked him, won a world championship by default and then thought he was the best. It's between three drivers next season. Alonso. Schumacher or Hamiltion.
thats a load of bullshit. Kimi deserved that championship more than anyone. In 2007, Alonso and Hamilton's cars were bullet proof and they still couldnt do it. This is coming from an English man so u cant say im biased. And also, he never thought he was the best, he just got on with it.
KIMI is mising!!!he is most coldblood driver in F1 history, but he isn't agresive like Alonso or the KING Schumacher, and about Hamilton and Buton....idon't know....they are just lucky guys who was found in lucky and good time, with very, very, very much well prepared cars.and i bet on SCHUMACHER or ALONSO and MASSA for this year title....se ya in Bahrain with ONE-TWO win for ferarri....FORZA FERRARI!!!
i would say that Kimi doesn't go back to F1.. He loves rally and in season 2009 he had no more interest to drive F1... If he would tried his best and develope the car all the time and so on, he'd probably not kicked out.. And according to my memories.. Felipe was doing better than Kimi before he got the crash and i think he deserves a new chance... ( Finnish guy speaking here ) vitun uunot
Not that I like Massa. If he starts from pole and runs away, he can win. But he can't seem to race. He got punked by Hamilton in LH's 2nd race, and made some bad moves on Kubica in Turkey (I think) and I don't think he's the most talented one on the grid.
I'm just saying you can't really compare the numbers one to one. Massa was at Sauber before joining Ferrari for the past 4 years. Kimi was with McLaren for 5 years, then Ferrari for 3. A lot more races.
ye, i totally understand that. I'm just saying that if ferrari wanted Alonso, then why dump Kimi and not felipe. In the long run, that maybe better but I think Kimi would have done well this season. Or ferrari should of kept both Kimi and Felipe until 2011 and see how it went
Yup, I thought they should have dumped Massa, but according to Ferrari, Kimi wasn't a good car developer. He wanted to jump into a finished car and go quick. And the current car needs a lot of development. And with Alonso leaving Renault, they probably felt they had to make their move this year, otherwise Alonso would be at another team with a 2 year contract.
@McLarenMercedes If you haven't noticed it, adrian newey is going to battle against rose brawn 'AGAIN' for the, euhm 10th time or something? Anyway you have right about that. That's why I am a fan off him. I saw him fighting against hamilton in Brazil 2008 to let massa win. At the last moment, he failed cause off Timo Glock. At that moment I thought I like this guy. He's awesome, I'm going to follow him next season. And looks like I have choosen the right guy. Hopefully he will be champion 2010!

wooohooo cant wait for 2010 season to start gonna be the best season eva...so many champions on the grid ..pitty tht we lost kimmi..but nevertheless its gonna be one to watch....martin brundle sed he cud,t wait aswell.he was more exited then when he used to race haha !
@steve5093 You're forgetting 1 team. Redbull and in, I heard something that was said in the paddocks. Redbull could come with a totally diffrent car. Almost every F1 car is based on the RB5, funny though. And I'm sure they will be in the top. Sebastian vettel is just like a fighter in a jet who dogfights with the others... He will never give up...
your missing the point phil9079. I am not saying that red bull are not going to have a good car. But i think the F10 looks awsome and with the talent of Alonso and Massa in the cars, no one will be able to outmtach them. Not even the Mclarens
@steve5093 and also not even the redbulls? if it comes to sebastian vettel, he is ready to battle the championship. So I doubt if the ferrari's could win. Possible, but lets just wait and see about that...
I don't believe in ferrari's pace this year...Mercedes engine is superior than Ferrari's 056!!!Aerodynamics are more or less similar...There will be battle between Mercedes's engines!(Schumaher,Button,Hamilton) and realy good aerodynamics by RedBul...
To many people are writing Button out of this years championship. With the rule changes about fuel, that means drivers only have to pit for fresh tyres. With Buttons smooth driving style he's going to be able to stay out longer, and in the last laps when everyone else will be nursing their tyres Button will still be pushing.
True the cars will be lighter, but no matter how light the cars are the tyres will have alot more wear if drivers are sawing at the wheel round every corner, appose to Jensons smooth driving lines through corners.
My favourite driver ist Robert Kubica because I polisch and I Thing Button and Hamiilton is not good driver because have a good car.Kubica have BMW. BMW ist weak !!!!!
Record laps: BAHRAIN: 1:30.252 - M Schumacher (2004) AUSTRALIA: 1:24.125 - M Schumacher (2004) MALAYSIA: 1:34.223 - JP Montoya (2004) CHINA: 1:32.238 - M Schumacher (2004) SPAIN: 1:21.670 - K Raikkonen (2008) MONACO: 1:14.439 - M Schumacher (2004) TURKEY: 1:24.770 - JP Montoya (2005) CANADA: 1:13.622 - R Barrichello (2004) EUROPE: 1:38.683 - T Glock (2009) GREAT BRITAIN: 1:18.739 - M Schumacher (2004)
no, the red bulls wont have the pace of the ferrari's and mclaren's or even mercedes. You may say i dont know beacuse the season or testing hasnt yet started but ferrari and mclaren are gunna learn from the mistakes last year. I say the top 5 finish in Bahrain will be :
What makes you so sure? So far every new car has looked pretty similar to the redbull and the redbull was generally considered the optimum intended design for the rules. Surely they have the biggest head start of all teams?
FA and some at Ferrari have also hinted they have serious reservations with the new car already. It wouldn't be the first time Ferrari have started the season with a minger after winning in the season before... '65, '73, '80, '84, '86, '91 and of course 2008 come to mind!
i wouldnt say it has been boring. In 2007, Raikkonen and Hamiltons battle was exciting. And Kimi did extremly well to win it after being all those points behind with just 2 races to go. And 2008 was good aswell. Last year wasnt great as Ferrari and Mclaren werent up there and Brawn was always gunna win it. Hamilton and Raikkonen werent their normal selves in 2009
well this is the way i think the top ten championship positions will be : 1st-Hamilton 2nd-Alonso 3rd-Massa 4th-Button 5th-Schumacher 6th-Rosberg 7th-Vettel 8th-Kubica 9th-Webber 10th-Trulli
You are right on that one. but the test results prove the opposite. Lotus hasn't got the fast car they wanted to have. On the first day in Barcelona they were 6.5 sec slower than the fastest time.I don't think they can change a gap that big in 2 weeks time.
Latest driver lineup: McLaren:- Button, Hamilton Mercedes:- Rosberg, Schumacher Red Bull:- Vettel, Webber Ferrari:- Massa, Alonso Williams:- Barrichello, Hulkenberg Renault:- Kubica, Heidfeld* Force India:- Sutil, Liuzzi Toro Rosso:- Buemi, Alguersuari* Lotus:- Trulli, Kovalainen Campos:- Senna, Petrov* US F1:- Lopez*, Villeneuve* Virgin:- Glock, Di Grassi BMW Sauber:- Kobayashi, de la Rosa Yes its still BMW Sauber cos its not renamed yet.
well i did like the lod f1 cars in 2007 and 2008 with the wider front and rear wing but the FIA believed that by making the front and rear wings slimmer, it would improve the cars
I reckon that Vettel's big chance came in 2009. i think the red bull's will slow this year. it will be a battle betwen Ferrari, Mclaren and Mercedes. Well, that's what i hope!?!?!??!?!??!
next year is gonna be a tough fight among alonso, hamilton and schumacher, depending on who is gonna get the best car.
i'm italian and of course i support the red one, but i'm glad schumy is back. i won't forget what he's done for Ferrari (nor I can blame him since for a german guy driving a mercedes is a dream) and sure he will make the next championship much more interesting (last year it was a joke).
i agree about what you sed on Barrechelio but saying 2009 was a joke, thats not a good statement... i mean, there was unexpected things all over the place, like who expected fisechella to get pole in spa and after ferrari's recent form, who expected a Raikkonen win.
because the Mercedes engine is the best, and this year when the engines need to be fuel efficient as well I can't see Ferrari producing a fuel efficient engine
I don't really like Ferrari, but I think they could have secured 3rd in the Constructors Championship if Massa didn't get hit by that debris in Hungary.
For 2010, I don't know. Williams will have the brilliant experience from Barrichello, and experience is usually good in Williams. I would like to see a fight between McLaren and Williams, but we will have to wait and see. I don't see 4 teams fighting it out for the constructors title, though.
well its not Ferrari's fault that Felipe got hit on the head. Its just one of things, a horrible and unfortuante accident. And Mclaren willl be far superior than Williams in 2010.
That sounds like the case. Surely it can't be certain where everyone will be in the pecking order until everyone tests at multiple tracks. I wasn't blaming Ferrari for that, I was just making a point.
Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel for his F1 World Champion Title! ;)

career points-320, World championships-0
Now who delivers more
steve5093 2 years ago
But Kimi had a lot more races in top machinery.
Not that I like Massa. If he starts from pole and runs away, he can win. But he can't seem to race. He got punked by Hamilton in LH's 2nd race, and made some bad moves on Kubica in Turkey (I think) and I don't think he's the most talented one on the grid.
fafaforza 2 years ago
yeah, but why did Kimi get longer in better machinery, because teams noticed his great talent, he should of been champ in 2005 aswell
steve5093 2 years ago
I'm just saying you can't really compare the numbers one to one. Massa was at Sauber before joining Ferrari for the past 4 years. Kimi was with McLaren for 5 years, then Ferrari for 3. A lot more races.
I'd still rate Kimi higher.
fafaforza 2 years ago
ye, i totally understand that.

And with Alonso leaving Renault, they probably felt they had to make their move this year, otherwise Alonso would be at another team with a 2 year contract.
fafaforza 2 years ago
Sebastian Vettel will be the youngest champion ever.
5 wins and he isn't even 23 yet.
Red Bull won 6 races in 2009. Check out any other new team that won 6 races in one season and see where they were the next season...
There hasn't been a single team in Formula 1 history that has won 6 races in a single season and not been champions sooner or later.
Last time I checked Adrian Newey still is in charge of the design of Red Bull. He has made plenty of championship winning cars.

Ferrari are leading the way in testing with Alonso and Massa. Looks an impressive car but we will have wait until Bahrain i suppose
steve5093 2 years ago
@steve5093 You're forgetting 1 team. Redbull and in, I heard something that was said in the paddocks. Redbull could come with a totally diffrent car. Almost every F1 car is based on the RB5, funny though. And I'm sure they will be in the top. Sebastian vettel is just like a fighter in a jet who dogfights with the others... He will never give up...
phil9079 2 years ago
your missing the point phil9079. I am not saying that red bull are not going to have a good car. But i think the F10 looks awsome and with the talent of Alonso and Massa in the cars, no one will be able to outmtach them. Not even the Mclarens
steve5093 2 years ago
@steve5093 and also not even the redbulls? if it comes to sebastian vettel, he is ready to battle the championship. So I doubt if the ferrari's could win. Possible, but lets just wait and see about that...

I don't believe in ferrari's pace this year...Mercedes engine is superior than Ferrari's 056!!!Aerodynamics are more or less similar...There will be battle between Mercedes's engines!(Schumaher,Button,Hamilton) and realy good aerodynamics by RedBul...
OK...lets watch Bahrain 1st!

i agree, lets just watch bahrain and see what happens. then we can comment on ferraris pace and mercedes

To many people are writing Button out of this years championship. With the rule changes about fuel, that means drivers only have to pit for fresh tyres. With Buttons smooth driving style he's going to be able to stay out longer, and in the last laps when everyone else will be nursing their tyres Button will still be pushing.
MrTennant1989 2 years ago
@MrTennant1989 on the last laps - the car will be lighter no? so there wont be as much need to nurse them.
me1570 2 years ago
True the cars will be lighter, but no matter how light the cars are the tyres will have alot more wear if drivers are sawing at the wheel round every corner, appose to Jensons smooth driving lines through corners.
MrTennant1989 2 years ago
My favourite driver ist Robert Kubica because I polisch and I Thing Button and Hamiilton is not good driver because have a good car.Kubica have BMW. BMW ist weak !!!!!

I think Vettel will win in Bahrain and then Massa in Australia.Robert Kubica finish 5 / 6 . Heitfeld ist stupid
rafi13b 2 years ago
no, the red bulls wont have the pace of the ferrari's and mclaren's or even mercedes. You may say i dont know beacuse the season or testing hasnt yet started but ferrari and mclaren are gunna learn from the mistakes last year. I say the top 5 finish in Bahrain will be :
1st- Hamilton
2nd-Alonso
3rd-Massa
4th-Schumacher
5th- Button
steve5093 2 years ago
1st- Hamilton

are u mad ? wheres alonso and red bulls wont have that much pace.
steve5093 2 years ago
What makes you so sure? So far every new car has looked pretty similar to the redbull and the redbull was generally considered the optimum intended design for the rules. Surely they have the biggest head start of all teams?
FA and some at Ferrari have also hinted they have serious reservations with the new car already. It wouldn't be the first time Ferrari have started the season with a minger after winning in the season before... '65, '73, '80, '84, '86, '91 and of course 2008 come to mind!
ChannelHamilton 2 years ago
@steve5093
Red bull not the pace of the rest? Haha, 6 poles in 6 races, both leading the drivers and the constructors championship...

I can't wait for the season to start f1 has been so boring since 2006
staponsa1 2 years ago
i wouldnt say it has been boring. Hamilton and Raikkonen werent their normal selves in 2009
steve5093 2 years ago
2010 won't be boring at all!
davidlars99 2 years ago
and also, i dont think shumacher will win the title. Hamilton will follwed by by the two ferraris and button
steve5093 2 years ago
Vettel will become the Champion! He's extremely fast and craves to win.

i think schumacher will be no higher and the red bulls will slow in 2010 so button will be 4th
steve5093 2 years ago
Trulli? are you a mental?
FerrariJunior95 2 years ago
well i think the lotus team will suprise people and if they are fast then trulli can use his experience to finish in the top 10
steve5093 2 years ago
You are right on that one. but the test results prove the opposite. Lotus hasn't got the fast car they wanted to have. On the first day in Barcelona they were 6.5 sec slower than the fastest time.I don't think they can change a gap that big in 2 weeks time.
FerrariJunior95 2 years ago
Hamilton, Vettel, Schumacher

ALONSO ON FERRARI CHAMPION!!!!! and i dont understand why fia make that change on the cars (2008 to 2009)..
Richard97AUS 2 years ago
well i did like the lod f1 cars in 2007 and 2008 with the wider front and rear wing but the FIA believed that by making the front and rear wings slimmer, it would improve the cars

yeah but the cars are more slower...

surely your not serious, Kubica world champ. Thats a joke
steve5093 2 years ago
I reckon that Vettel's big chance came in 2009. i think the red bull's will slow this year. it will be a battle betwen Ferrari, Mclaren and Mercedes. Well, that's what i hope!?!?!??!?!??!
chaz1254 2 years ago
lol barrichello, are you serious?
next year is gonna be a tough fight among alonso, hamilton and schumacher, depending on who is gonna get the best car.
i'm italian and of course i support the red one, but i'm glad schumy is back. i won't forget what he's done for Ferrari (nor I can blame him since for a german guy driving a mercedes is a dream) and sure he will make the next championship much more interesting (last year it was a joke).
welcome back champion, go ROSSA.
quandore 2 years ago
i agree about what you sed on Barrechelio but saying 2009 was a joke, thats not a good statement... i mean, there was unexpected things all over the place, like who expected fisechella to get pole in spa and after ferrari's recent form, who expected a Raikkonen win.
steve5093 2 years ago
@quandore alonso is over rated i say hamiliton vettel and button maybe schumacher
BIGFACE08 2 years ago
I would like to see Vettel win it all but I really don't know who's going to do what this season.
More reason to watch.
txngasnguns 2 years ago
no, i dont think red bull will be challenging for the title again, it is possible as anything is in F1 but im not so sure
steve5093 2 years ago
i think alonso will win the title!! but i hope massa does because that will be a good comeback for him!
jonferrari2007 2 years ago
neither Ferrari will win the title
why?
because the Mercedes engine is the best, and this year when the engines need to be fuel efficient as well I can't see Ferrari producing a fuel efficient engine
WASPTexas 2 years ago
I don't really like Ferrari, but I think they could have secured 3rd in the Constructors Championship if Massa didn't get hit by that debris in Hungary.
For 2010, I don't know. Williams will have the brilliant experience from Barrichello, and experience is usually good in Williams. I would like to see a fight between McLaren and Williams, but we will have to wait and see. I don't see 4 teams fighting it out for the constructors title, though.
thedoctorand 2 years ago
well its not Ferrari's fault that Felipe got hit on the head. Its just one of things, a horrible and unfortuante accident. And Mclaren willl be far superior than Williams in 2010.
steve5093 2 years ago
That sounds like the case. Surely it can't be certain where everyone will be in the pecking order until everyone tests at multiple tracks. I wasn't blaming Ferrari for that, I was just making a point.
thedoctorand 2 years ago
Ok, but on paper, it will be Mclaren and Ferrari bsttling out for the title and tbh i cant see any other teams winning the title
steve5093 2 years ago
i think that ferrari with alonso and felipe will dominate this year!!!!!!! tifozi ferrari
