@MrConservativeTalk I also think Newt is too much of a flip-flopper, I mean railing against Fannie and Freddie and calling out people who profited from the crisis, when he himself made millions off of them. He also is blatantly arrogant and enjoys flustering himself in the winds of transformation and crisis. Newt also supported the individual mandate and stared in an ad with sweet sweet nancy pelosi.

@Willredd94 He advised Fannie and Freddie before the crisis, he did not put in place federal housing policies at that time. He supported a mandate along with Heritage before both he and Heritage changed positions. The ad with Pelosi means nothing, he fought cap and trade and never said the words "global warming" in the ad. Newt is a proven conservative with bold solutions.

@MrConservativeTalk Advising Fannie and Freddie is bad enough, and before the crisis is even worse. The fact that he was paid 1.6 Million to advise them as a historian is also telling. Newt said as recently as last Spring that he would support an individual mandate and he said "global climate change" in the ad and talked about the need to fight it. He's getting cozy with that freak show Donald Trump and he repeats himself in every speech he makes

@Willredd94 Newt Gingrich has advocated the types of policies America needs; lower taxes, less spending, secured borders, repealing Obamacare, state's rights, conservative judges, American energy, the Bush foreign policy etc. He changed his views on mandates along with Heritage, and there is global climate change, the question is how is it caused? Trump is a moron, but whatever. As for the $1.6 million, that's capitalism.

@MrConservativeTalk Unfortunately its not capitalism, its crony capitalism/socialism/corporati­sm as freddie mac is government subsidized and the government backs their loans. Bush foreign policy? You mean that globalist, wilsonian idealist liberalism? Which caused massive deficits, thousands of dead Americans, and cost us all the respect of the free world. Bush did nothing on Iran, he let North Korea have nukes, he gave billions to Qaddafi. That bush foreign policy?

@Willredd94 Given the questions you are raising Willredd94, you'd be much better off supporting Ron Paul, or at the very least Jon Huntsman (though I think Huntsman's attitude towards Iran is too hawkish, but he's worlds better than the rest of them). I'd research both candidates thoroughly if you haven't already. It's time the conservative movement recover the good sense it had back in the days of Robert Taft and Calvin Coolidge when it didn't call for running the planet.

@MrConservativeTalk I have to say, Newt's new Iowa ad is quite touching and well made. As long as Newt disciplines himself until November, he'll likely beat Obama. One reason I still have a soft side for Newt is b/c he was the Bush Administration's utmost critic in the Republican Party from foreign policy, to spending, to Iraq and immigration.

@Willredd94 Gingrich's dissent on Immigration, Iraq and Spending was fake, just like everything else he has ever argued. People give Romney grief for being a flip-flopper, but Newt has elevated the practice to an absolute art form. Also, do a Google search on Newt Gingrich and Alvin Toffler. Apparently Newt likes to recommend literature to other congressmen that calls for the end of the U.S Constitution in the name of "progress". Newt also supported Carter's Dept. of Education.
