@fatwalletboy2 Yes mate the AC was inside for incase the 37 got tired and emotional (which it didnt) And I believe the panto was raised due to the sub zero temperatures, Not only was the pan keeping the wires frost and ice free it was also for when the 37 was detatched from this train at Warrington Dallam mail terminal the 86's cab would'nt be absoloutely freezing for the driver taking over to Scotland. My guess was the cab heater needs the pantograph raised to work. Thanks for the comment 87006
Fantastic video once again Tom, something stupendous are the 70's and indeed 2010 as a year for the 70s as will this year be the same, I have no doubt about that especially with 008-12 arriving tomorrow! Brilliant music used tyhroughout the video, all the AC shots are top, gd tractor thrash, but the 70's are where it's at, Im telling you Top Stuff! 'Liked'
A very grand video Tom, thumbs up. One observation about the 70 section though - have you no footage of 70003 on the Yorkshire Dalesman tour racing through Warrington Bank Quay last April?
Oh, and happy new year to you - hope to see you out and about again soon!
@theamateurbasher He has Dave yes, as have I, but she wsn't sounding that good and thats what he's tried to encorporste into this video as much as he can, thats all.
@87002theBEAST And to you John, hope to see you out and about sometime in 2011 as well. I'm not criticising Tom's efforts for one moment, I was just wondering if he still had footage of 70003 on the charter, even if she didn't sound thrashy that day.
interesting at 2;37 where the AC electric is being hauled by the DRS class 37 with the pantograph still raised.

Top video, Tom!
Nice to see the 37s getting a 'big up'! lol
The 70s seem rather beefy too. Long may they continue!
Best regards,
Rob (37057viking)
