  • Exciting video. Thank you.

  • Iam reallyl interested in marial arts especially in Tai chi. I would like to travel to China one day or to practise hard with a reall master. It isn´t possible to help you with filming, is it? I mean I really would like to co-operate with doing a document film about martial arts.

  • @animeloved okay well dude its not my channel but ill save you some trouble, these guys arent willing to share any money or glory with you, no one is, you have to find a tai chi sifu or find your own way to china, im telling you right now, its a tough journey and very few if anyone will help you, china is a large place and is quite dangerous in certain areas, i opted for japan instead because of how well preserved their martial arts are and how safe the country is because of the police knowing..

  • different styles those who learn only these thai chi techniques and theesse kung fu techniques are losers ... they are not losers ok but they dont know what creativty means and flow and creativity is a verry difficult thing you can only make experience with love and passion do your own style live thai chi its in every movement every movment of you can be like water every movement can transform in thai chi like musik
  • Why is it that Western television, whenever making a documentary on Wushu, frequently say, at some point, sooner or later, "Like a scene from a Kung Fu movie", or "It's like we stepped into a Kung Fu movie".

    Something along those lines.

These phrases are cliche by now. You make us seem like excitable children, fools unable to appreciate anything foreign on a level deepr than entertainment.

Also, these phrases belittle the spiritual aspect of Wushu.

  • Master An

Is this the same master An who taught a young Jet li, and once taught at OSU?

  • i like this, but i prefer jiu jitsu

  • good stuff.

  • fuck you

  • its sick yo

  • Is it also practiced in shen yang?!

  • Tai Qi...like standing still but only slower.

  • excellent video,

may i remind most that martial arts is practiced for health, defence, control and culture. not all fighting is meant for killing. thanks for the videos emptymindfilms

  • grow up.

  • alright dumbass, lets live reality, no where in my rant is it related directly to the video, but to the videos genre, making an obvious statement which your punitive little mind couldn't handle. I appreciate films of expression no matter the art, so deal with it. ill say it again grow up.

  • Don't worry about Blndfist. He's just another loser who has made himself to be the king of all fighters by propagating MMA and slamming traditional martial artists.

You're absolutely right in that he is a dumbass but eventually with the way he runs his mouth, I wouldn't surprised if Blndfist got shot in the face for being a douche.

  • @BigN33dle That guy Blndfist is 41 years old...I cann't believe how much trash went our from his mouth...acting like and inmature child, poor rat!

  • @aeortiz2004 I hear ya. Some people just lack manners.

  • you meant "puny", right? ...not "punitive" which means punishable....;) but i guess it could apply....in this case.

  • excellent video !! =)

  • ahh...repost this video please. I havnt seen it.

  • So Interesting! Thanks for bringing this to us!

  • tai ji not tai qi

  • I think the terms are constantly intertwined in usage especially in western countries which makes it hard to decipher the actual pinyin spelling. Growing up with martial arts, I'm pretty sure the closest to correct would be "Tai Chi/Tai Qi." 'Qi' comes from the ancient Shaolin teachings of "Qi Gong ('chi' manipulation through movement and breathing)." "Tai Ji" is a style of massage that utilizes balance of yin and yang flow--same concept but -Ji (massage), -Chi/Qi (self energy). ^_^

  • The Chinese characters for Qì (气), is not the same as the Chinese character for jí (极). 气 is vaguely translated in English as air, breath, or gas. It is comparable to the Latin word Spiritus meaning breathing. 极 on the other hand means polarity. 太极拳 (Taìjíquán as spelled in Hànyǚ Pīnyīn) means extreme polarity fist. Qì (气), and jí (极) as in 太极拳 (Taìjíquán) are not the same words either in writing or in meaning.

  • HAO HAO! Excellent presentation!

  • holy crap that is one long broadsword

  • i should go down to the coroner every morning and let the old ladies teach me some tai qi

  • very interesting footage, traditional wushu in the parks of beijing! yes!

  • the last dude in 2.31 is uselss. let me guess. he was just there so didn't want to hurt his feelings lol the old guy with red jumper is good. I didn't like the 2 second guy as well. chen taiji isn't very good. FACT!

  • Chen Tai Chi is the original one, the first style of Taichi, the root.

Even Yang LuChan studied it with the Chen Family before developing his own style.

Do some research Yoda, but the performer in this video is indeed, not so good, look for Master Chen ZhengLei for Good Chen Style.

  • research? This is not some class or assignment. In asia this is for fighting. Do you really believe some miracle will come from this style. Or your health will improve:) Chen Zhenglei also has good dancing techniques and tricks. Than he over change foolish westerners. This is a fact.

  • Useless to argue with an obtuse man, who believes his beliefs are FACTS

  • Its a fact. You have to understand what is cultural revolution. and how poors these ppl really were only a few years back.

  • That is irrelevant. When Zhang Shengli first started studying, his family was so poor they had to pay his teacher with eggs because they had no money. Now he's a total badass - he trains the Snow Wolves. You think they'd let just anyone teach them how to kill? Zhang shifu has made his own forms of taiji, bagua, and xingyi, all of which are more explosive and aggressive than other forms. You might think Taiji is weak... but trust me, Zhang Shengli is more powerful than you can imagine.

  • you think every westerner is foolish and fat and lazy? cause martial arts come from the west to and swordfighting, its just lots of westerners ahve gotten fat and lazy but their are still some who arent

  • Thanks I'm also a practitioner of Kung fu, and Tai Chi myself. Nice Video
