  • I actually saw a "Walmart Wall of Heroes" for the first time and this scene immediately. lOL

  • Oh come ooon they cut out the best part, Trombley going "your dad was a truck-driver?"

  • @peoplehunter16 Hahaha hell yeah! Love GK!!

  • At least my mom took me to NASCAR HAHAHAHA I laughed so hard

  • i love this scene

  • unconvincing? God I felt like I was THERE!!

  • rofl

  • best scene in the whole series. lol

  • one of my favorite scenes in GK!!!

  • Looks interesting, but the actors seem unconvincing.

  • @Inedible1 trust me... watch it, the acting is inspiring in so many ways

  • @Inedible1 its your opinion that they are unconvincing and its completely valid, however there are interviews with Rudy Reyes (who plays himself in Generation Kill) and he says that sometimes it was hard to tell what was his real life memory from what was filmed it was that close to life and the guys where so true to form.

  • lol turn on transcribe audio...

  • "your dad was a truck driver?"

  • "point ray" that's a stick in the ass right there

  • Ray = the best character of GK. ^^

  • "At least my mom took me to see NASCAR" HAHAHAHAHA

  • lmfao the look on Rays face after he says "Didn't you biological parents disown you when they put you up for adoption?"

  • best part at the end is missing... trombley asking: "your dad's a truck driver?"

  • ray rocks! hes so cool! remember the scene where he talks about how this war is about getting laid?

  • atleast my mom took me to nascar

  • i love this series

its a shame that it didn't continue

  • @Donutman767 It was a true as can be story. It didn't continue because the real story ended. Thats the way true life goes. Things happen and then they don't anymore. Things end

  • the mini-series was based on a book by the same name...the mission for this group was over...there are a few books that were written by different Marines from this series

  • i just realised what whiskey tango ment(white trash)

  • technicly speaking didnt your parents disown you when you were put up for adoption

  • Ive always found it a little in bad taste to make

a show about a still on going war.

  • Without a doubt, the funniest and most realistic interpretation of a modern war to date.

  • 0:16 is that Ziggy from the wire?

  • Your dad was a truck driver?

  • Colbert is king, funny guy in this movie.

  • Brad was the shit

  • atleast my mom took me to nascar hahahahaha

  • hahaha that was my favorite line lol

  • i rarely see ray's carbine is it stowed away some where in the Humvee like the porn mags and ravioli brad hid hehe

  • you can tell they are about to laugh at the end

  • 'If my mom distributed my likeness without written authorization, i would disown her'

he says things the long way round, but it's sooo sexy and shit funny LOL!

  • at least my mum took me to nascar lol that was jke

  • my moms only qualification for parent hood is a uterus that can catch the sperm of a passing truck driver. rotfl

  • brilliantly written scene

  • @vinnyvasquez its a true story it wasnt writen

  • @hockeydude1400 youre an idiot

  • @johnbas94 NO it fucking is stupid there's a book, a Rolling Stone Article, what more do you need?!

  • @vinnyvasquez this most likely wasn't written. A reporter was attached to recon Marines, and most likely experienced this first hand. The article was such a hit that they turned it into a series.

  • lol person's expression at 0:29

  • at least my mom brought me 2 nascar lol

  • 0:29 hahahaha i love person hes so funny

  • at least my mom took me to nascar, lol

  • the uniforms they are wearing are MOPP suits, and were only available in jungle green pattern. watch episode 1, you'll get the idea :)

  • no the marines that are in afganistan right now were desert camo these soldiers got the wrong shipment

  • @panda1345 yeah thats what they mentioned in the first episode cause scribe got desert camo lol

  • this isnt based off the gulf war.... Its about the invasion of Iraq.

  • Idiot.

  • Learn to read the synopsis.

  • hey "BIG JAMES"...get you're history correct...this is the invasion of Iraq..."lol"

  • Huh? Of course they did. Are you a Marine? No.

  • 3 months late but who gives a shit.

Anyways, they used the MOPP suits because there was still a risk that the Iraqis would use chemical weapons. Theres a video on youtube where the US are wearing these suits, and see smoke coming from the roof of a building and a treeline, and all quickly put the protective masks and gloves etc on.

  • I just now got what he said about the Whiskey Tango, lol he means WhiteTrash lol

  • yeah i have noticed that, i think it all comes down to basically saying it when they feel like it.

hence also why they said November Juliet instead of what it means

  • Konoton, ...would not be nearly as cool!

They express unity with one another while leaving others who are not in the "know" out. It's just a form of camradery.... and inclusion as well as exclusion. They are like a family... "blood is thicker than water."

... not having been a marine, I'm just sayin'....

  • A source of inclusion as well as exclusion.. remember, they are like a family. ;) And it's cool.. yes?

  • If the enemy hears on Com "Atention all victors we'll be oscar mike in 10 minutes "They wo'n't know what its about, if the hear "All vehicles, we are leaving the area in 10 minutes" They might just lay low and wait for the Marines to go away. Just a shabby examplanation of why Marines talk that way ; )

  • that's not a military secret lol.

ya I know your just kidding, but all the enemy is going to know over a radio is that some random unit is moving out, lol.
