the word "sons"in the term "sons of GOD is used 4,924 times in the o.t. its also translated as "children" in the term "children of ISRAEL"-now were the "children" of Israel the direct off-spring of Jacob?then why does the word "sons" of GOD HAVE to mean the direct sreation of GOD?also GEN6:4 plainly states that the giants were in the earth BEFORE the sons came into the daughters-their off-spring were the men of renown-NOT the giants!

he got part of this wrong, The titans fathered the god's, Cronos was zeus's, Hades, Posiedons, Hera' and i think there are 3 more, which makes 7 a very important number in christianity anyways Cronos was the father of the GReek Gods' but he wasn't the only titan there were many others. Chaos or The Endless Deep Fathered them all. look it up. lots of similarity in christianity and greek mythology I think. The fashion and the way these beings are praised is different. THat's all.

Christ said to Pharisees you are of your father the devil. There was a serpant seed line introduced into our genes

Chill out on Philos2006. I once thought this stuff was too strange too. But as I grew in knowledge of the Lord, and in fellowship of the Holy Spirit, HE made me comfortable enough to be able to handle reading into these things, because it can get a little spooky. I am not sure if you don't believe the Bible at all Philos2006, and if so I can understand your position. I pray that you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But if you do believe the Bible, this is kinda hard to explain away.

I agree that fallen angels mated with women to create the giants. However, there is no evidence of a BC LXX existing. All the manuscripts we have are AD. We have some scraps of the Torah in Greek from the 2nd century BC, which were likely Targums, translations of particular books into Greek from Hebrew.
