first let me say that i love aaron as a brother in Christ, but i'd like to encourage him and you to not think whatever we can say about the LORD "clouds" or "covers up" or "confuses" ref. time 1:31-2:05. it can, if they are our words or opinions, but if they are the LORD's words [ 2 Tim. 3:16] about his character, salvation, reality, ...etc. obviously he does this very thing by reading from the Word, so that shows me where his position is in an authoritative sense. breathe in/out the Word.
