Its all about Tuomas anyway, he runs the show and is a keyboardist/composer god.
If you read the biography of the band it all started where tuomas grabbed his friends, went to a campout composed some music and had them adapt to it. Tuomas is the composer and primary founder. While i admit tuomas ISNT all of nightwish, he is the only one that beyond a doubt cannot be replaced.
So what, they changed singer?! Is it so hard to move up with'em ? Some "true" fans of ACDC said the kind of things when they hired the new one...that he was no good etc... the same kind of people who bought the most expensive tickets to see'em live!!
I think she should switch that dancing with some headbanging, it fits better.

HUH? You never really listened to Nightwish at all before Anette joined the band did you. That's how the song is SUPPOSED to sound, and is VERY close to the studio version. Tarja certainly doesn't go out of tune, and performs a MILLION times better than Anette ever could on her best day.
Are you confusing Marco's voice for Tarja's?

Tarja left Nightwish in 2005, so that means you never heard Tarja sing live. Regardless, there's many that do remember Nightwish with Tarja, and hold Nightwish to the same standards they once had. That's why so many are disappointed.

I feel good that I have only been listening to them for only a year, because I would those standard and probably dislike Anette. I love Tarja and Anette plain and simple.

There's few bands that I'd actually spend money on as far as buying their CD. Nightwish WITH Tarja was one of those bands.
I've tried to like their new music, but besides how awful they sound live, their new fans have definitely soured my opinion on the NEW Nightwish.
The band's cold hearted and callous manner of firing Tarja didn't win me over either.

Tarja being fired is something I looked into and moved on. I look at it as "personal reasons".
The first Nightwish I actually bought was the End of an Era DVD and CD Pack. I just bought DPP a little while ago. I'm going to buy as many as I can now since the CD's are scarce in FYE and other music stores

Theres some thing for Sure with Annette and Nightwish
1. She is beautiful.
2. She have a good voice in Dark Passion Play
3. But for Sure, the old Nightwish song doesnt sound good with her voice.

so a singer, often the frontface of the band should always look depressed and not be allowed to show that she is having a good time? that she is enjoying the experience... 'cause that is what Tarja was good at.

She didn't ALWAYS look sad and depressed; she was actually supposed to be more mysterious. There were times where she interacted with the crowd, or did a dance or something.

Pretty good. The sound quality isn't awesome though. I'm slightly disappointed at the chorus, but of course, it can't be compared to the studio version.
