The Jews accepted the program and former prime minister David Ben Gurion announced the new Jewish states. Not long after the Palestinian declared war on the new founded state and attacked it.
Not only that they had the help of no less then 5 other Arabic armies in the region. They killed 6000 thousand Israelis when the Jewish population was no more then a few hundreds of thousands. Israel prevailed. 60 years after the Palestinian situation is the simple consequence of not accepting (to say the least) the original UN plan.

And its not that Israel hadn't tried to sign a peace agreement in the past, but so far it lead only to more Jewish blood being spelled. The Oslo agreement lead directly to the second Intifada which took the lives of many.

בדרך כלל הם לא ישנים אבל בזמן מלחמה צריך להיות מוכנים להכל...קח לדוגמא את המלחמה בלבנון היו פלוגות שנשארו 30 יום (כמעט כל המלחמה בשטח של לבנון)..
