  • @xXxL3W15xXx man i pegged it out in both directions of the autobahn on so many occasions. I pretty much drove it like it was a loaner. speedo reads 160mph and i push upto what seem to be 165mph if it were written on the speedo. 5th gear 7000rpm and held it for maybe 2 minute.

  • @hagrido1981 It didn't actually sound the way it does on the clip. Not sure what was up with the cam that day.

  • @stohladam You cannot gauge it by how much boost because different set up have different hp and torque results, my car is making 328 whp@ 17psi(1.17 bar) in comparison to other vr6t which are making 330+/- @ only 12psi(0.8 bar). same chip and kits different turbo specs and I have smaller exhaust system. most say for a 2.8 12valve vr6 is you should do upgraded rod bolts when you make more than 400whp/400lb ft/torque. getting close to 400ft/lb(542 N-m) on a old motor with stock bolts is a gamble

  • @punto131, I have a electronic boost controller and daily drive at a low 9psi (0.62bar) this turbo had 9000km and right now it has 32,180km on it.Just started to smoke after being staved of oil after the oil feed line came in contact with a positive battery post. ( thank you name less battery shop). It is being fittied with another turbo by the new owner.

  • @I3lackl3ear I dynoed 328ps@16psi (i was in germany at the time) those numbers where done when I didn't have a fuel pump and on 2.25" cat back with a stock cat.

  • @I3lackl3ear it dynoed 361ps crank 328ps wheel with stock cr, stock fuel pump, stock cat and 2.25" exhaust, the video clip was done after the walbro in line 255lph fuel pump

  • When are you going for your full exhaust man? dump the CAT. i think that at the moment thats costing you about 80hp.

    O yeah, i ordered my C2 tune, if i'm lucky i have it next week, then its a matter of cranking up the boost to 18+ psi :D

  • @mi16pim I will in time. I had to take care of some non care stuff.I have a 3" resonator and straight in my garage. Once i get a highflow 3" cat and muffler I will have it all welded up. I have a 8.5:1 spacer to put on and I still need a clutch and LSD.

    You ordered the tune. For it to work you need a 4" MAF housing. It will not work without. Also spark plugs that work are NGK BKR7e gapped to .020

  • the cam said error when i looked at it but I pegged the RPM;s at 7000 and thats about 165mph on a gps.

  • The 1st time I push this car down the autobahn i held it at 6800 rpm in 5th gear for a few miles. I lost all the water due to a fail water pump and a blown coolant hose. lol Scary but funny to see car that i passed so long ago catch up.

  • Man Josh I hate it too so you must also have the ugly tan leather interior. I have a black dash and center console to go in one day.

  • Below I wrote stick instead of stock and br6 instead of vr6. I'm replying with my iPhone

  • I can't remember what boost I was running that day. Let say I was shooting for 16psi and there are two reason I couldn't achieve it. 1 my stock cat is stick and very restrictive for that much boost on a 2.8 liter. 2 I have stock compression and br6 rule of thumb says a vr on boost should exceed 10 psi. So maybe it is pulling timing. When it's cold out I can run 16 psi but it was about 80 that day

  • thats wicked! I couldn't tell what the boost spikes at though.
