I have an 06 and it still rocks, fully XT, Bombers MX and a Fox at the back, truly a great all round, light and responsive piece of kit. Just buy one :-)
Thank for your video man, now i have this bike but with a vanilla fork 2010 and a fox rp23 pro pedal 2010 and it's just amazing to drive!, your video help me to decide bro! thank's.
@Gatot1 Yeah. It used to only affect roadies right? I'm bothered by this surge in mountain bike snobs. I rode a hardtail for years. Probably passed this toolbox on his Carbon stumpy....
i got one of these its sick, just put a new fox, had a recon, but i need something better. Can the rear suspension be edited with a fox instead of a the x-fusion?
Yey, just picked mine up this week. First full sus bike after rider a Hardrock for the past 12 months. Excellent bike for the price. Locked out = increased efficiency especially true when riding on tarmac. Use bike for work aswell as trails.
Locked out = increased efficiency? Perhaps...if the rider doesn't know how to ride full-suspension properly. This presentation needs a lot of refining in my opinion. C-
Perhaps I should have described the different terrains the FSR XC can handle. If the trail is smooth/hardpack locking out can provide more efficient ride quality due to all the rider's effort moving the rear wheel forward. If the trail is rough, having an open/active suspension provides more efficient ride. Hope this reply clarifies what I meant by locking out=increased efficiency.
hope you got my reply, if not here it is. too bad about the fires in chino i hope everybody is well from them. santiago oaks has some great technical riding. you are welcome to ride with me there, i ride santiago oaks every thursday morning. thanks for the feedback. ed from rocknroad anaheim hills.
what would you guys recomend for a bit more technical riding close by? chino hills sate park has just gotten too leisurely for me (and it wont be open now because of the fires). i've started looking south into the hills in between you and orange. I've only done blackstar canyon out there and that was pretty fun, any other specific routes you recomend?
hi king, santiago oaks has some of the best technical riding here in orange county and its only a few miles from chino. i ride in santiago oaks every thursday morning if you want to ride with me. Ed from RockNRoad Anaheim Hills
He was just talking about the FSR XC model line in general. We offer all the different XC models at each of our 4 stores. Please stop by and test ride one! Thanks for the question. Matt - Rock N' Road
Rock n Road still stocks 2010 FSR XC bikes that range from 1000.00-1600.00. Give us a call or come in and see them in person.

@timeeyyy You can but it is going to be under gunned on some of the trails out there. It can be limiting, you would be better off with an Enduro.

I've just bought one of these for £650 off ebay, boxed and new. Wanted the 2009 Pitch Pro but as this is my first bike in years it'll do. :D
