@thalesdk US patent 821.393 shatters all your lies and proves once and for all that the Wright brothers were true Aeronautical Engineers and inventors of the first heavier than air flight machine. Dumont was just a hippie of that era just like you are today.
The wright bros had half dozen witnesses. Dumond had whole Paris and he's the first to be recognized by the International Federation of Aeronautic, and Aero Club de France. Americans want to take credit for everything. "Yuri Gagarin" was the first man in space, and I was in the USA when they celebrated Alan "Sheppard instead" "the 40th anniversary of the "1srt man in space"!
Santos Dumond a Brazilian, Gagarin a Russian, no Americans involved.
@rubroxato88 Notice that dumont always flies his shitty flier down a cliff where the gradient descent quicker than his falling speed to create the illusion that he is flying.
@matatan69 You are the only one in the world to see a "cliff" around the Eiffel Tower. Dumont had entire Paris as witnesses, and you are a foolish Dutch sucking up to the Americans.
@rubroxato88 Why didn't he test his shitty plane on the USA. the wright brothers tested their plane on the US and in France, they have two continents as eyewitness. Dumont on the other suspiciously never tried flying the 14-bis outside france. and why? because he knew exactly where to make his controlled fall! Paris is situated on the river Seine, a river flows from high potential to lower potential hence giving the Paris soil a slight slope wich give the 14-bis sufficient time to fall.
@rubroxato88 Actually the wright brothers had two countries as eyewithness, USA and France after their visit on August 8 1908. Dumont on the other hand suspiciously never tried flying the 14-bis outside france. and why? because he knew exactly where to make his controlled fall! Paris is situated on the river Seine, a river flows from high potential to lower potential hence giving the Paris soil a slight slope wich give the 14-bis sufficient time to fall and create the illusion of being in flight
@rubroxato88 Dumont's first "official" (FAI) and actual sustained flight occurred on 13Feb, 1909, but only after he had illegally installed the "patented" technology of the Wright brothers. (USP #821,393). After Dumont showed up with his model 21 Demoiselle at the Aug,1909 Rheims Air Race&Show at Rheims, France, the LCGdeNG (French license holders of the Wright's patents) filed in court on Dumont, Peltrie, Lavasseur, and Bleriot for their blatant violation of their patent license.
@matatan69 Dumont was the most famous man in the early 20th century, he is the father of aviation. There was also a Romanian named Traian Vuia who was an inventor contemporary of Dumont and his plane was also superior to the Wright Bros. But is very difficult for Americans to admit anybody being pioneer on anything but them. I just don't know why you are going all over the place fighting for American propaganda?
@rubroxato88 and where are their patents to show that they are the true inventors? US patent 821.393 submitted by the wright brothers on march 1903 beautifully explains how an airplane works. Dumont's only invention is the creation of an illusion of flying by throwing his plane down a slope where the gradient decrease faster than his "controlled fall" with the 14-Bis. He belongs among the greatest illusioners like Uri Geller.
@rubroxato88 Dumont knew of his violation of the wright brother's invention of the aeroplane. that's why he agreed to ABANDON AVIATION FOR GOOD in order to avoid imprisonment after LCGdeNG filed in court against all the violators of USP821.393 including Dumont.
@matatan69 Contrary to other contemporary inventors, Santos-Dumont did not believe in patents. He distributed freely the plans for the Demoiselle to anyone who wanted to build his own. In that sense, Santos-Dumont was an idealist and was in the forefront of what we nowadays call the ‘Open Source’ initiative.
Several companies profited from his work, although that had never been his intention. President Bill Clinton and Neil Armstrong on record called Santos Dumont "The Father of Aviation".
@matatan69 CONT. This clip mention Santos Dumont was bigger than life, the most famous person in the world, has been forgotten by the powerful media. He had a noble contribution, never filed for a patent on any of his projects from balloons, airships & HTA anybody could copy his work including an ad on a paper showing how to build a Demoiselle, everybody was flying. Wright's claimed to invented all and lived in their lives in court. He had PASSION for flying like no one. CONT.
@Verdelufe your thirst for distortion is so great that you belief your own illusions. "every body was flying"?? "lived their lives in court"?.. Let me remember you that it was Dumont that hanged himself not the wrights. The Wrights went to build the Wright Aircraft Company wich later became the succesfull Curtiss-Wright company.
@matatan69 LIES IN OUR HISTORY: Graham Bell was considered an impostor in 2002 by U.S. Congress
by taking the invention of telephone from Antonio Meucci for not having $10,00 to renew his patent. Meucci died poor and unknown. We are learning everyday new evidence from the past.
@matatan69 Dumont was the first one to fly HTA obsviouly. There was a competition in 1906 Dumont fullfilled all the requirements and won the prize, the brothers kewn about but did not show up, if they did they might be the first ones AGREED. Now to come up with a picture of 1903 (?) and say NO we were the first ones is PREPOSTOROUS.
@matatan69 LIES IN HISTORY : Wright brothers were the first ones to fly a heavier than air machine. Santos Dumont was not a lie it was FACT in front of thousands.
@Verdelufe Santos Dumont barelly could mimic a lift off by means of an opticall illusion where he dropped his glider down a gradient with a down slope greater than his Verticall falling speed. he did this various times in fronts off thousands off idiots who did not have a clue how to fly. This is why after the wrights presented their Flyer in Paris dumont stopped using his drop down a gradient technics ans went to steal the wright's patent. He was sued later by the Wrights and LOST!
@matatan69 1906 Dumont made a little insignificant hopper considered by most critics but at that there was not anything to compare or judge, there were no pilots available.
@matatan69 He was sued later by the Wrights and LOST! What is new ? Every aviation pioneer was sued by the Wrights total of 37. The Brothers really knew how to fly thru the courts.
@matatan69 With all due respect I don't think you are smart enough to continue and coherent conversation.
You keep repeating yourself the same B.S. small potatoes. Dumont was a celebrity a BIG ONE in aviation, he was BIGGER THAN LIFE. You say Dumont really knew how to steal a patent, you mean like the other 37 pioneers knew how to steal too. It's a matter of culture you were raised without knowing who Dumont was, now you realized that there was another one but you can't accept it. GOT IT?
@Verdelufe In your own words "He was BIGGER THAN LIFE" but he killed himself, you want to suggest that he did not steal any patent but it was HIMSELF who agreed on an outside court settlement with Wilbur and Orville and agree to retire from the aviation world in order to escape jail time. You accuse me of being raised without knowing who Dumont is but in reality he is nothing in the aviation comunity, he owns no invention and he is not mentioned in most History books. So who is wrong?
@matatan69 I already explained to you that he hung himself like his mother but has nothing to do with the subject with talking here. What the ass has to do with the pants even though they are together.DUMONT IS NOTHING IN THE AVIATION COMUNITY you make meLOL he was the most recognized person in aviation Thomas Edison made a battery for him and told him that he would not resume his works in flying do to patents fights.Europe worked with a free open mind helping each other NO OBSESSION IN PATENTS
@Verdelufe "Europe worked with a free open mind", Ha,ha,ha give me a break. Let me refresh your memory by recalling you that just a few years after the Wrights invention the Europeans went to war in what is know as the First World War ( or the Great war). They butchered and killed each other using their medieval way of thinking amd by making use of everything they could lay their hands on. Chemical warfare, Biological, bullets, bombs, torture and yes, even airplanes!
@matatan69 HE(Dumont) OWNS NO INVENTION and he is not mentioned in most History(American History Books) So who is wrong ? Of course you are wrong. I already told you about Graham Bell the inventor of telephone, an impostor who was praised in American History books for 100 years. Do you see my point ?
@Verdelufe Mr.Bell was born in Scotland U.K. he filed a patent first in the U.K and then in the US before Antonio Meucci, Mr, Meucci had no money and could not pay for a patent. The US Congress being impartial as all American foundation honored Mr. Meucci as the inventor rather than Mr. Bell taking into account his impoverished status wich impaired him of patenting his invention. Mr Dumont on the other hand was not impoverished and he tried to steal the Wrights invention. These are FACTS!
@Verdelufe , Wright's Replicas are being flown as we speak, the Discovery channel even aired a program about the science behind the Wright Flyer, Dumont 's 14-Bis on the other hand used a technic employed by the gliders in wich its falling speed is lower than the upstreaming air current. By throwing the 14-Bis dow a gradient wich descend faster than the negative vertical speed of the 14-Bis, Dumont created the illuson of flying. The Wrights demostration in Paris put and end to his TRICK!
@rubroxato88 Very well, my friend. Thank you about your wisdom. Santos Dumont is the great father of aviation in the world. In respect, I suggest that our fellow americans to stop this nonsense. Congratulations for my dear friends from Russia, too.
@rubroxato88 most tech usa have or had are borrowed from other countries. So no suprise there that Wright brothers got the credit over santos dumont. But who cares? These ppl will be remembered for their contribution, not for their country. Think it this way, they are ppl who transcended time w/ their inventions. That alone is worth more than any country. Be it Brazil, Russia, or USA.
@rubroxato88 I live in the US, have all my life. We all know Gagarin was first. You're an imbecile to believe we'd celebrate a soviet victory, in any capacity, over the US, during the Cold-War.
@xeperhurf "a soviet victory, in any capacity, over the US, during the Cold-War"?
40th anniversary of the first man in space, there was no longer a "soviet union" genius. Also "we all know Gagarin" its a false statement because 80% of Americans can't even locate the USA on the world map!
BTW don't even try to reply because this is not my channel anymore, I handled it to somebody else and I checked the comments here only once in a while!
@rubroxato88 The victory was soviet as it occurred in the Soviet Union, during its lifetime.
Your statistic, like most on the internet, is 100% fabricated. Most US citizens can place themselves on a map as well as any other nation's citizenry knows their place on the planet. Videos displaying the contrary can be found and exploited within any country.
Your 'I ain't even gonna read it, lol' is the same garbage trolls have been pulling since the dawn of BBS and newsgroups.
@xeperhurf Its not about political bias, its about HISTORY, Gagarin was the first man in space not Alan Shepard! A"newscaster" should have known that.
Go complain to WTKK talk radio in Boston, they were the ones talking about American high school kids being unable to locate the USA, also go watch Jay walk on the Tonight Show , and see Jay Leno interviewing clueless Americans on streets.
@xeperhurf ^ Truth. It's so ridiculous how some people think Americans are totally clueless about the world around them... America is one of the most educated countries on Earth. Your knowledge of basic geography doesn't impress us... Peasant. tee hee
@rubroxato88 you really think the first flight, would be in a big public venue, lol. the first fight probably isn't recorded, but the wrights have the first recorded flight, of course they wouldn't get an award, cause their was nothing to give them, no one knew it was possible lmao,
@bphatboyjohn123 Dumont's flight was a big event in Paris! is plane actually flew by its own power, while the WB's had to use a catapult, and only few "witnesses"
@bphatboyjohn123 We are not saying that Dumont was the first one, WB WAS the first indeed, but it WASN'T A PLANE, it was a GLIDER, Dumont model is a plane, I bet that you americans will never understand that, your ego is simply to big. US brought hundreds of FRENCH planes, because WB one wasn't a PLANE
@jotathenoble um. yeah everyone is, just cause their racist, it was a plane, a plane flys on an engine a glider has no engine retard, and start up high and glides down.
@jotathenoble it wasn't a catapult, lol. it was the first one made, couldn't just start flying straight from the ground, santos took their plans and ideas and made it later, still not better seeing as it didn't even fly up, just glided on the ground, once up the wrights plane could fly wherever. lol
@bphatboyjohn123 He didn't took anything from Wrights, he designed by itself his plane, not to mention the baloons and upgrades that he did in early aviation, americans have an big ego, I don't expect that you will understand that. And Wrights Plane? No, you mean a glider, you can check that in the early aviation, america was way behind europe, as Dummont model was upgraded to the firsts planes, while america took a pushback. Use proofs, not your ego, dumbass.
@jotathenoble yeah but his so called plane that couldn't even fly, was made years after the wrights were, and everyone has a big ego you dipshit, so everyone who is not american don't have an ego? lol. get over yourself and your hate for america, jealous much? lol. doesn't look upgraded, just looks like its gliding on the ground, and u never see it take off? lol. also the wrights was not a glider, gliders don't have engines and can fly in the air, it went up, not glided down, duh!
@bphatboyjohn123 He's plane? Took off, alot of people saw it doing so. He's Upgrades? Changed the way that people saw Blips and Baloons. He's latter blueprints and plane concepts? Modified by french aviation, used on WWI, that even caused him to suicide himself, what he most loved to made, turned into a war machine, Wrights did an HTA flight, however, didn't worked well wen used on WWI. And I don't hate north americans, just those ones stupid enought to put their beliefs in front of true facts.
@jotathenoble my beliefs? what wrights invented flying, fact. lol. not my belief lol. his never even flyed, and he's? baloons? and to suicide himself? lol. u don't make any sense man, learn proper grammar. lol you make no sense.
@bphatboyjohn123 You believe that WB made the first airplane, why? Because they were north americans, patriotism, you guys achieved alot of goals, but this one is not yours. Wrigths were pioneers on HTA, by using a glider, why a glider? Because it needed external help, that wasn't Dumont's goal, he's objective was to make an airplane, and he did, in front of thousands of peoples 14 bis took off, and landed, the cause of his suicide was the fact that the govern used his models to war.
@marcionix , Notice that dumont always flies his shitty flier down a cliff where the gradient descent quicker than his falling speed to create the illusion that he is flying. by the way I'll pay you a million bucks if you demostrate your theorie, first. catapult or "throw" yourself, then fly around in circles. pitch up and down and land safely on a predetermined spot. untill you don't demostrate it, you like all Dumonters are a complete retarded aviator wannabe.
@matatan69 The Wrights Flyer 1 is a not propelled aircraft. The aircraft was not lifted in the air by themselves, but catapulted mechanically. The same flight was conducted under limited conditions in the course, with the flight distance achieved only in accordance with the power of the auxiliary machine launch. The flight did not occur in the presence of witnesses, not featuring an event with public credibility, unlike the flight of 14-bis of Santos Dumont. At most, the Wrigths glided.
@marcionix August 8, 1908, in front of a French crowd, reporters and public dignitaries, Wilbur climbed into his flyer and put on an aerial display which stunned the spectators. The French were only accustomed to seeing flights which lasted only a few brief seconds. The Wright Flyer could stay aloft for minutes, even circling his plane for more than two and a half hours. Arriving under a cloud of skepticism, the Wrights left France hailed as masters of aviation. Dumont hanged himself later.
@matatan69 Before August 8, 1908 Dumont, Bleriot and others pioneers were flying with some control in April of 1908 then the brothers gave their showdown at that time, but no replica(none, nada, nothing) could perform by anyone only the brothers knew how to fly the Flyer. after 100 years, Dumont's replicas all performed by anyone 14 Bis & Demoiselles.Dumont hanged himself after years(1932) like his mother, who knows the reason could be in the DNA,said the cause was his work became a war weapon
@guilhermeavbm really ?, I will pay you a million if you catapult yourself sitting on a rock, make turns, pitch up and down, fly in circles and then land without rolling your ass around at a designated spot. Untill you don't demostrate it, you continue to be a complete idiot in front of the aviation comunity.
@guilhermeavbm I'll pay you a million bucks if you demostrate your theorie, first. catapult sitting on elephant, then fly around in circles. pitch up and down and land safely on a predetermined spot. untill them you like all Dumonters are complete retarded aviators wannabe. Notice that dumont always flies his shitty flier down a cliff where the gradient descent quicker than his falling speed to create the illusion that he is flying, LOOLLLL!!!
All i have to say is: "With a catapult even an elephant can fly"! ;)

jrlueken 2 years ago
Sorry, but they did not have a commission to evaluate the flight, had no witnesses!
dctinin 2 years ago
The wright bros had half dozen witnesses. Dumond had whole Paris and he's the first to be recognized by the International Federation of Aeronautic, and Aero Club de France. Americans want to take credit for everything. "Yuri Gagarin" was the first man in space, and I was in the USA when they celebrated Alan "Sheppard instead" "the 40th anniversary of the "1srt man in space"!
Santos Dumond a Brazilian, Gagarin a Russian, no Americans involved.

@rubroxato88 Notice that dumont always flies his shitty flier down a cliff where the gradient descent quicker than his falling speed to create the illusion that he is flying.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 You are the only one in the world to see a "cliff" around the Eiffel Tower. Dumont had entire Paris as witnesses, and you are a foolish Dutch sucking up to the Americans.
rubroxato88 1 year ago
@rubroxato88 Why didn't he test his shitty plane on the USA. the wright brothers tested their plane on the US and in France, they have two continents as eyewitness. Dumont on the other suspiciously never tried flying the 14-bis outside france. and why? because he knew exactly where to make his controlled fall! Paris is situated on the river Seine, a river flows from high potential to lower potential hence giving the Paris soil a slight slope wich give the 14-bis sufficient time to fall.
matatan69 1 year ago
@rubroxato88 Actually the wright brothers had two countries as eyewithness, USA and France after their visit on August 8 1908. Dumont on the other hand suspiciously never tried flying the 14-bis outside france. and why? because he knew exactly where to make his controlled fall! Paris is situated on the river Seine, a river flows from high potential to lower potential hence giving the Paris soil a slight slope wich give the 14-bis sufficient time to fall and create the illusion of being in flight
matatan69 1 year ago
@rubroxato88 Dumont's first "official" (FAI) and actual sustained flight occurred on 13Feb, 1909, but only after he had illegally installed the "patented" technology of the Wright brothers. (USP #821,393). After Dumont showed up with his model 21 Demoiselle at the Aug,1909 Rheims Air Race&Show at Rheims, France, the LCGdeNG (French license holders of the Wright's patents) filed in court on Dumont, Peltrie, Lavasseur, and Bleriot for their blatant violation of their patent license.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 Dumont was the most famous man in the early 20th century, he is the father of aviation. There was also a Romanian named Traian Vuia who was an inventor contemporary of Dumont and his plane was also superior to the Wright Bros. But is very difficult for Americans to admit anybody being pioneer on anything but them. I just don't know why you are going all over the place fighting for American propaganda?
rubroxato88 1 year ago
@rubroxato88 and where are their patents to show that they are the true inventors? US patent 821.393 submitted by the wright brothers on march 1903 beautifully explains how an airplane works. Dumont's only invention is the creation of an illusion of flying by throwing his plane down a slope where the gradient decrease faster than his "controlled fall" with the 14-Bis. He belongs among the greatest illusioners like Uri Geller.
matatan69 1 year ago
@rubroxato88 Dumont knew of his violation of the wright brother's invention of the aeroplane. that's why he agreed to ABANDON AVIATION FOR GOOD in order to avoid imprisonment after LCGdeNG filed in court against all the violators of USP821.393 including Dumont.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 Contrary to other contemporary inventors, Santos-Dumont did not believe in patents. He distributed freely the plans for the Demoiselle to anyone who wanted to build his own. In that sense, Santos-Dumont was an idealist and was in the forefront of what we nowadays call the ‘Open Source’ initiative.
Several companies profited from his work, although that had never been his intention. President Bill Clinton and Neil Armstrong on record called Santos Dumont "The Father of Aviation".
rubroxato88 1 year ago
@matatan69 CONT. This clip mention Santos Dumont was bigger than life, the most famous person in the world, has been forgotten by the powerful media. He had a noble contribution, never filed for a patent on any of his projects from balloons, airships & HTA anybody could copy his work including an ad on a paper showing how to build a Demoiselle, everybody was flying. Wright's claimed to invented all and lived in their lives in court. He had PASSION for flying like no one. CONT.
Verdelufe 1 year ago

Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe LIES IN HISTORY: Dumont was the fisrt to fly a heavier than air machine.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 Dumont was the first one to fly HTA obsviouly. There was a competition in 1906 Dumont fullfilled all the requirements and won the prize, the brothers kewn about but did not show up, if they did they might be the first ones AGREED. Now to come up with a picture of 1903 (?) and say NO we were the first ones is PREPOSTOROUS.
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@matatan69 LIES IN HISTORY : Wright brothers were the first ones to fly a heavier than air machine. Santos Dumont was not a lie it was FACT in front of thousands.
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe Santos Dumont barelly could mimic a lift off by means of an opticall illusion where he dropped his glider down a gradient with a down slope greater than his Verticall falling speed. he did this various times in fronts off thousands off idiots who did not have a clue how to fly. This is why after the wrights presented their Flyer in Paris dumont stopped using his drop down a gradient technics ans went to steal the wright's patent. He was sued later by the Wrights and LOST!
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 1906 Dumont made a little insignificant hopper considered by most critics but at that there was not anything to compare or judge, there were no pilots available.
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@matatan69 He was sued later by the Wrights and LOST! What is new ? Every aviation pioneer was sued by the Wrights total of 37. The Brothers really knew how to fly thru the courts.
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe and Dumont really knew how to steal a patent.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 With all due respect I don't think you are smart enough to continue and coherent conversation.
You keep repeating yourself the same B.S. small potatoes. Dumont was a celebrity a BIG ONE in aviation, he was BIGGER THAN LIFE. You say Dumont really knew how to steal a patent, you mean like the other 37 pioneers knew how to steal too. It's a matter of culture you were raised without knowing who Dumont was, now you realized that there was another one but you can't accept it. GOT IT?
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe In your own words "He was BIGGER THAN LIFE" but he killed himself, you want to suggest that he did not steal any patent but it was HIMSELF who agreed on an outside court settlement with Wilbur and Orville and agree to retire from the aviation world in order to escape jail time. You accuse me of being raised without knowing who Dumont is but in reality he is nothing in the aviation comunity, he owns no invention and he is not mentioned in most History books. So who is wrong?
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 I already explained to you that he hung himself like his mother but has nothing to do with the subject with talking here. What the ass has to do with the pants even though they are together.DUMONT IS NOTHING IN THE AVIATION COMUNITY you make meLOL he was the most recognized person in aviation Thomas Edison made a battery for him and told him that he would not resume his works in flying do to patents fights.Europe worked with a free open mind helping each other NO OBSESSION IN PATENTS
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe "Europe worked with a free open mind", Ha,ha,ha give me a break. Let me refresh your memory by recalling you that just a few years after the Wrights invention the Europeans went to war in what is know as the First World War ( or the Great war). They butchered and killed each other using their medieval way of thinking amd by making use of everything they could lay their hands on. Chemical warfare, Biological, bullets, bombs, torture and yes, even airplanes!
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 HE(Dumont) OWNS NO INVENTION and he is not mentioned in most History(American History Books) So who is wrong ? Of course you are wrong. I already told you about Graham Bell the inventor of telephone, an impostor who was praised in American History books for 100 years. Do you see my point ?
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe Mr.Bell was born in Scotland U.K. he filed a patent first in the U.K and then in the US before Antonio Meucci, Mr, Meucci had no money and could not pay for a patent. The US Congress being impartial as all American foundation honored Mr. Meucci as the inventor rather than Mr. Bell taking into account his impoverished status wich impaired him of patenting his invention. Mr Dumont on the other hand was not impoverished and he tried to steal the Wrights invention. These are FACTS!
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 DO NOT FORGET THIS !!! No Wright's Replicas could fly NONE, NADA , NOTHING !!!
All Dumont's Replicas could fly ALL, EVERYONE, ALL THE TIME !!!
Verdelufe 1 year ago
@Verdelufe , Wright's Replicas are being flown as we speak, the Discovery channel even aired a program about the science behind the Wright Flyer, Dumont 's 14-Bis on the other hand used a technic employed by the gliders in wich its falling speed is lower than the upstreaming air current. By throwing the 14-Bis dow a gradient wich descend faster than the negative vertical speed of the 14-Bis, Dumont created the illuson of flying. The Wrights demostration in Paris put and end to his TRICK!

You're an imbecile to believe we'd celebrate a soviet victory, in any capacity, over the US, during the Cold-War.
xeperhurf 3 months ago
@xeperhurf "a soviet victory, in any capacity, over the US, during the Cold-War"?
40th anniversary of the first man in space, there was no longer a "soviet union" genius. Also "we all know Gagarin" its a false statement because 80% of Americans can't even locate the USA on the world map!
BTW don't even try to reply because this is not my channel anymore, I handled it to somebody else and I checked the comments here only once in a while!
rubroxato88 3 months ago
@rubroxato88 The victory was soviet as it occurred in the Soviet Union, during its lifetime.
Your statistic, like most on the internet, is 100% fabricated. Most US citizens can place themselves on a map as well as any other nation's citizenry knows their place on the planet. Videos displaying the contrary can be found and exploited within any country.
Your 'I ain't even gonna read it, lol' is the same garbage trolls have been pulling since the dawn of BBS and newsgroups.
xeperhurf 3 months ago
@xeperhurf Its not about political bias, its about HISTORY, Gagarin was the first man in space not Alan Shepard! A"newscaster" should have known that.
Go complain to WTKK talk radio in Boston, they were the ones talking about American high school kids being unable to locate the USA, also go watch Jay walk on the Tonight Show , and see Jay Leno interviewing clueless Americans on streets.
rubroxato88 3 months ago
@xeperhurf ^ Truth. It's so ridiculous how some people think Americans are totally clueless about the world around them... America is one of the most educated countries on Earth. Your knowledge of basic geography doesn't impress us... Peasant. tee hee

@rubroxato88 you really think the first flight, would be in a big public venue, lol. the first fight probably isn't recorded, but the wrights have the first recorded flight, of course they wouldn't get an award, cause their was nothing to give them, no one knew it was possible lmao,
bphatboyjohn123 3 months ago
@bphatboyjohn123 Dumont's flight was a big event in Paris! is plane actually flew by its own power, while the WB's had to use a catapult, and only few "witnesses"
junglemanlawyer1 3 months ago
@bphatboyjohn123 Typo, I meant "HIS" plane!
junglemanlawyer1 3 months ago
@bphatboyjohn123 We are not saying that Dumont was the first one, WB WAS the first indeed, but it WASN'T A PLANE, it was a GLIDER, Dumont model is a plane, I bet that you americans will never understand that, your ego is simply to big. US brought hundreds of FRENCH planes, because WB one wasn't a PLANE
jotathenoble 1 month ago
@jotathenoble um. yeah everyone is, just cause their racist, it was a plane, a plane flys on an engine a glider has no engine retard, and start up high and glides down.
bphatboyjohn123 1 month ago
@bphatboyjohn123 Taking of by itself is diferent that using catapults and or external help, retard.
jotathenoble 1 month ago
@jotathenoble it wasn't a catapult, lol. it was the first one made, couldn't just start flying straight from the ground, santos took their plans and ideas and made it later, still not better seeing as it didn't even fly up, just glided on the ground, once up the wrights plane could fly wherever. lol
bphatboyjohn123 1 month ago
@bphatboyjohn123 He didn't took anything from Wrights, he designed by itself his plane, not to mention the baloons and upgrades that he did in early aviation, americans have an big ego, I don't expect that you will understand that. And Wrights Plane? No, you mean a glider, you can check that in the early aviation, america was way behind europe, as Dummont model was upgraded to the firsts planes, while america took a pushback. Use proofs, not your ego, dumbass.
jotathenoble 1 month ago
@jotathenoble yeah but his so called plane that couldn't even fly, was made years after the wrights were, and everyone has a big ego you dipshit, so everyone who is not american don't have an ego? lol. get over yourself and your hate for america, jealous much? lol. doesn't look upgraded, just looks like its gliding on the ground, and u never see it take off? lol. also the wrights was not a glider, gliders don't have engines and can fly in the air, it went up, not glided down, duh!
bphatboyjohn123 1 month ago
@bphatboyjohn123 He's plane? Took off, alot of people saw it doing so. He's Upgrades? Changed the way that people saw Blips and Baloons. He's latter blueprints and plane concepts? Modified by french aviation, used on WWI, that even caused him to suicide himself, what he most loved to made, turned into a war machine, Wrights did an HTA flight, however, didn't worked well wen used on WWI. And I don't hate north americans, just those ones stupid enought to put their beliefs in front of true facts.
jotathenoble 1 month ago
@jotathenoble my beliefs? what wrights invented flying, fact. lol. not my belief lol. his never even flyed, and he's? baloons? and to suicide himself? lol. u don't make any sense man, learn proper grammar. lol you make no sense.
bphatboyjohn123 1 month ago
@bphatboyjohn123 You believe that WB made the first airplane, why? Because they were north americans, patriotism, you guys achieved alot of goals, but this one is not yours. Wrigths were pioneers on HTA, by using a glider, why a glider? Because it needed external help, that wasn't Dumont's goal, he's objective was to make an airplane, and he did, in front of thousands of peoples 14 bis took off, and landed, the cause of his suicide was the fact that the govern used his models to war.

matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 The Wrights Flyer 1 is a not propelled aircraft. The aircraft was not lifted in the air by themselves, but catapulted mechanically. The same flight was conducted under limited conditions in the course, with the flight distance achieved only in accordance with the power of the auxiliary machine launch. The flight did not occur in the presence of witnesses, not featuring an event with public credibility, unlike the flight of 14-bis of Santos Dumont. At most, the Wrigths glided.
marcionix 1 year ago
@marcionix August 8, 1908, in front of a French crowd, reporters and public dignitaries, Wilbur climbed into his flyer and put on an aerial display which stunned the spectators. The French were only accustomed to seeing flights which lasted only a few brief seconds. The Wright Flyer could stay aloft for minutes, even circling his plane for more than two and a half hours. Arriving under a cloud of skepticism, the Wrights left France hailed as masters of aviation. Dumont hanged himself later.
matatan69 1 year ago
@matatan69 Before August 8, 1908 Dumont, Bleriot and others pioneers were flying with some control in April of 1908 then the brothers gave their showdown at that time, but no replica(none, nada, nothing) could perform by anyone only the brothers knew how to fly the Flyer. after 100 years, Dumont's replicas all performed by anyone 14 Bis & Demoiselles.Dumont hanged himself after years(1932) like his mother, who knows the reason could be in the DNA,said the cause was his work became a war weapon
