1. You owned up to leaving the closed campus,
2. The school did not have grounds to punish you for showing up at the ski place unless: the school handbook says something about a student who is suspended cannot be at any school sponsored event. AND You were skiing with people who were on the field trip.
I am pretty sure they don't let guys who rape and murder use the prison library computer to use the internet.

That's bull man. The student was not on any school transportation or school grounds at the time of the Ski Resort. The part about him being suspended again is against the law.
